Ok.. this is a version in a self-extracting zip, so anybody who was trying to launch it directly from inside the downloaded zip won't get crashes.. hopefully that will make things a bit easier for folks..

My wikis are private but I didn't get that far. When I attempted to install the program, it says that "Visual Wiki has encountered a problem and needs to close" then it asks me if I would like to report this problem to Microsoft. The Microsoft report says that it is EventType: clr20r3 (if that helps?).

would you mind telling me what the error is that you get? I'm not sure how this works with private wikis exactly, but I've managed to get this to work on 3 different machines with public wikis.

When you say "nothing happens or comes up," do you mean the page doesn't change, or it takes you to a blank page?
