So, I called Comcast to let them know once again On Demand was not working and had not been for a couple of months. The rep sent a signal which did not work and, of course, scheduled a tech to come out. So, I'll be waiting on my Saturday for him. When I inquired about a credit, I was told that On Demand is a perk. I am not paying for On Demand, it is simply a bonus that Comcast provides, a perk I was told. I didn't realize that when I signed up for the package, nowhere did I see it written that On Demand is not a service one pays for, but is provided free of charge. Does that mean I can cancel my comcast cable, pay only for the digital box and receive On Demand free of charge? What this all comes down to is that Comcast are just a bunch of thieves. You knowingly provide bad quality services, and just wait for the complaints to come all the meanwhile collecting hefty monthly charges from customers.

Well Josh, I'm very happy for you that you are getting the service you pay for. I pay $90 a month for cable alone, I expect that it should work properly- all day, every day. I should be able to get up at 4am and be able to access On Demand without any interruption and no problems at all. But, that's not the case. As for cable guys, well, they are your average Joe. They know no more than I but yet they're supposed to be the end all when it comes to comcast. I've had 2 cable guys out to visit - they knew nothing, did nothing, fixed nothing. So......

On Demand not working, AGAIN!I have had issues with comcast's on demand for several months now. Everytime I call, I get reps who sometimes know what they're doing and most of the time don't. They send a signal to the box or I reset it. Then, it works for about 15 minutes and stops working. I call back, then they say they need to send a tech person out. I work, I can't sit around waiting for a tech to come. Just fix your service. It's simple, FIX YOUR SERVICE. So, I pay $90 for cable that doesn't work properly, still. I never get offered a credit or anything. This is your fault comcast. The next time I call will be to cancel.
