Are you connected when you change the size of the window? Only the Contact List window will remember its size, not the Sign In window.

Which server are you using?
Does it offer GSSAPI, NTLM or GSS-SPNEGO?

Also press F12 to open the console. What do you see when you connect? If possible, paste the log at http://pastie.org/

Is there any error?
Which version of Windows and Internet Explorer are you running?
Did you auto-update to Pandion 2.6.67 or manually install?
Try uninstalling and then installing from scratch.

While we tried to keep Pandion compatible with Windows 2000 we haven't tested it ourselves yet. You seem to have just discovered a minor dependency problem which requires WinXP or later. Dries is already working on fixing this problem. Will let you know how it goes and when/if we can restore Windows 2000 compatibility. Until then just try it on a WinXP or later machine.

Which version of Pandion are you using? I fixed an issue related to Openfire restarts just a couple of days back. Try Pandion 2.6.x development build:

Please use build 2.6.66 or whichever is the latest. I cannot provide answers for bugs in outdated builds.

I've implemented a fix which will be available in 2.6.67 and later.

Most likely that's just one of GTalk's odd behaviours. Not much we can do about that.
