cc@where replied on October 14, 2008 17:03 to the question "How do I add widgets to my phone?" in Where:
If you’re using WHERE on an iPhone or iPod Touch, or access WHERE via m.where.com, you currently cannot add or remove widgets from your phone. Not to worry, we’ll be adding this feature soon.
However, if you have the WHERE downloadable application running on one of our other supported phones, keep reading.
There are two ways to get widgets on your phone, assuming you’ve already successfuly installed where on your phone, from the web or from your phone.
From the web
1. Login to www.where.com
2. Drag and drop the widgets on the left to your phone on the right.
3. The widget will magically appear on your phone.
From your phone
1. Turn on the where application
2. At the home screen (the first screen with widget on it) press the right soft key
3. From the menu that appears, select “manage widgets"?
4. From the page that loads, select the widget you’d like to add and click “add"?
5. A new page will appear with a description of the widget. Click the right softkey to add the widget
6. If you decide not to add the widget, click the left “soft key"? and you will return to the add widget screen
