the 2 recommendations I had still don't work, but a new one did, so I guess asking the people who recommended me to write it again is my solution. thanks anyway. It's not that there are 50 of them that went wrong, so it's not that bad. Thanks for the effort anyway.

Okay, I'm going to call this hopefully resolved.

If you have this problem, please go to your accounts and settings, and RECONFIRM all emails associated with the account. Then retry accepting the recommendations.

If this does NOT work, then please email me.

We have a fix that will go out that will prevent any new users from having this problem. However, anyone currently suffering from this will need to RECONFIRM their address.

I believe there should have been a warning message to this effect somewhere....just wondering :-)

Is there a light at the end of the tunnel? Whenever i click "Accept recommendation" I keep getting the error : This recommendation is not available. My fingers are tired of retrying....Will have to try my luck tomorrow!

I think we might have a bug in confirmation messages. I know it's a pain, but could you resend the confirmation message and reconfirm? It would really help in tracking this down.

Reconfirming, even when it says it's confirmed, has been fixing many of these. My engineering buddy James has a fix he's working on so this won't happen anymore, but folks currently suffering should try reconfirming.

Two tings on your account Charlie

1. you have two emails. I've sent reconfirm mails to both, in case one of them wasn't confirmed. please check both desnews and hiponline.
2. Your account is restricted. This usually happened when you upload your entire addressbook and some people don't remember you. I've removed that. I doubt that had anything to do with the problem, but we'll see if it helps.
