sarahkim replied on September 21, 2009 17:00 to the question "How can I get started writing articles for Oreilly.com?" in O'Reilly Media:
Hi Luke,
What area are you interested in writing about? There are a couple of options.
1. We may be interested in having you blog for oreilly.com (all of the technical articles published on oreilly.com these days are from our bloggers).
2. We have a new community site in beta that I can send you an invite to - it may be the best place for you to publish some of your expertise because it includes ways for you to build your reputation with O'Reilly.
Please send me an email at sarahkim@oreilly.com if you're interested in either of these options.
Kind regards,
Sarah

Hi,
Which ebook were you hoping to purchase? And which page were you trying to purchase it from?
I'm seeing the "Add to Cart" button next to the ebook option on our book pages. For example:

Thanks!

Hi Craig,
If you like the Head First series I would highly recommend Head First HTML with CSS & XHTML:

It starts from the beginning and will help you quickly get up-to-speed so you can dive back into Head First Web Design.
Kind regards,

Hi Daniel,
Our system is supposed to require you to create an account if you have an electronic product in the shopping cart. There seems to be a bug that we'll have to track down. I'm sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this caused!
Please send me an email at sarahkim AT oreilly.com with the email address you used to register and the Ebook you purchased and we'll get everything sorted out.
Kind regards,
Sarah

sarahkim replied on January 20, 2009 22:44 to the question "Noisy iPhone app" in O'Reilly Media:
Hello,
Sorry it took so long for us to respond. One thing you could do is go to Settings > Sounds and then turn Ring vibrate to ON. That way the phone will vibrate once on a calendar event.
If that doesn't work for you this article details how you can create your own ringtone for your iPhone (since the ringtones that come with the iPhone are not very loud):
http://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Incr...
Hope that helps.
Sarah
