It doesn't have the same formula, but it does too have a formula. You've still got tap accuracy with great, good, etc, which are different point values just like they are in tap tap. And there's even a multiplier which occurs after you hit a certain number of notes in a row in a lane.

And how the tap tracks are made, whether by person or computer, wouldn't affect gameplay in terms of lag or misses because both are done before you actually play the track

So you know how TTR3 has to be paid, since it's gonna have in-app purchases?

What about games that go on sale temporarily? Cause I've seen a lot of apps that are normally paid that have a brief period where they're free...

So... if Tapulous wanted to stick with their free game mentality... Could they make it normally 99c, but have like a day where it's free so that loyal fans could get it then? Cause then it's like a paid app, but just temporarily on a sale...

Anybody have a clue if Apple has thought about that?

Song packs with themes, I bet you're right. Cause really, let's think about what all a premium app was... paid, 10-12 songs by an artist, with some different themes to fit the artist.

Well I think it could work, cause after all, that idea was kinda used in DDR (though that's also based on the approximate difficulty of the song).
But I wouldn't want that. I really like the scoring system as it is.

And also, I think it's logical to not get as many points if you're playing a song with fewer taps. You did less work, so you deserve fewer points. Especially since they contribute to tapulous points, and future coins.

Wait, are you talking about TTR1 or 2? Cause 2 there is no question that there are plenty of drops. It got worse with TTR 2.5

Personally I have like 99% success... and not that slow either.
