1. already in TTR3, as can be seen in the officially leaked scrennshot :P
I like 2...
3 I'm not a fan of...
4 would definitely be good, because there's a short time after you unpause that it's impossible to get the tap anyway.
5. I prefer the idea somebody suggested of having the next song in the outside details, as well as the things currently out there (like number of people)
6. uh... nah :P

actually, you mentioned deleting the entire library, which is different than deleting the whole app.
I don't believe that'll help anyway though... I don't think your problem is a problem with whether it installed correctly. If there's any problem, it's probably shake sensitivity, which is something that is totally a balance as to how much it's programmed to register. – Ceegers, on September 04, 2009 20:06
A comment on the idea "when are you guys going to put some gospel tracks?" in Tapulous:
By the way, I don't see anywhere where the band said all things will end... that was Tapulous' interpretation... "the rough translation of their new album title"
It can be different, yes... but there's no real division between the two, because there are songs every amount in between.
I can understand that, but to me it's not promotion of religion; it's promotion of good music that they know at least some people will enjoy. Certainly not everybody enjoys lady gaga, or agrees with her lyrics (I know I don't), but Tapulous knew there were some who would. I actually have a Jewish friend who has a ridiculous amount of Christmas music. He doesn't celebrate christmas, but he listens to it because it's good music, and he just loves music, no matter what it says!
As far as other religions go, if that's what people want, sure!
The question is... are there people playing tap tap who would enjoy those other songs? If so, by all means, that'd be awesome! As of yet, I haven't seen any of them request for those songs though (and believe me, I look at EVERY topic on here since at least March).
Personally I'd be fine with a bunch of songs about Allah or Mohammed, if the songs were good. It's about the music. We all know Tapulous is not siding with any one religion (or we should know... maybe a disclaimer that "The views expressed in this music are not representative of Tapulous or Tapulous's employees"?). If there's a decent number of Muslims who want some of their music up there, I don't see why not!
And I ended up buying lady gaga revenge anyway, despite not agreeing with her values. – Ceegers, on September 04, 2009 19:48

hehe, believe me, they think about those kinds of things a lot, so I'm sure you'll see some cool features :) – Ceegers, on September 04, 2009 19:26
Ceegers replied on September 04, 2009 03:22 to the question "iPhone 3GS" in Tapulous:
What would they do differently? The general game works no matter which device it is.
I could see maybe making things different because the devices you mentioned can handle more going on at once, but I think instead of a different app it should just be like a "turn extra graphics on/off" switch...
...but I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, it's not very clear...
Ceegers replied on September 04, 2009 01:32 to the problem "What's up with the unreadable theme this week (Flyleaf's Again)?" in Tapulous:
Haha gosh that is hard to see what the other person's score is... 33,000? I think? lol
By the way, since there's a topic about battles up...
Has anybody else noticed the other player's score not actually following what's actually happening? Like, the score seems to increase normally for a while, but along the way, it gets behind.
You can notice this especially during a hold. During a hold, both scores should be going up by the same amount (1000/sec), but sometimes you can notice that other person's score will go up by normal tap values (1200, 600, 400) during your hold, which means it's not registering their score at the same place as yours is.
This especially annoys me at the very end, because the song will have ended for me, and the their score keeps going up for another 5 or so seconds. So when the song ends, I can be beating them, and then I just watch as their score keeps going up, while I have no more taps.-

Ceegers replied on September 04, 2009 01:18 to the idea "when are you guys going to put some gospel tracks?" in Tapulous:
Just to clarify, I'm not saying Flyleaf is showing that Tapulous is about to put more gospel stuff up anytime in the near future.
But I think some things you might gather from this is that:
A. gospel music (which I will rather loosely define as music done by christian groups) doesn't have to offend anybody (is anybody offended by Flyleaf's song here?)
B. you can't even tell sometimes that it's a christian group... without knowing any background about the band, would you be able to tell they're christians simply by this song?
C. christian bands can hit mainstream :)
P.S. as Biblekid said in one of his posts, Tapulous is by no means a christian company, and as such, they have no real pressure to put any christian music up. It's just all some suggestions to throw in the bag :)
A comment on the idea "when are you guys going to put some gospel tracks?" in Tapulous:
Biblekid said it well.
Be careful, serotonin_wraith, about taking what you understand to be Christianity and placing it on it as a whole. I find most people end up with some sort of misunderstanding about what Christianity is, and it looks like this is an example of one of those misunderstandings. – Ceegers, on September 04, 2009 01:09
A comment on the idea "when are you guys going to put some gospel tracks?" in Tapulous:
It does indeed depend on the term gospel music. Personally I've kinda taken it the direction of christian music in general, because that's typically how people use the term.
Looking at wikipedia though: "Gospel music is music that is written to express either personal or a communal belief regarding Christian life"
The key thing I'm noting here is "Christian life". It doesn't have to specifically say anything about God even. I think when Flyleaf says "it's part of who we are, so it comes out in our music," it kinda fits that.
Iffy definitions *shrug* – Ceegers, on September 04, 2009 01:05

Online scoring is based on the global score of everybody involved in the match. So sometimes getting 2nd can get you lots of + points... sometimes it can get you lots of - points. – Ceegers, on September 03, 2009 21:42
A comment on the question "18Days shakes are weird, is it my pod or what?" in Tapulous:
Well getting an arrow with 0 points is better than not getting it at all, so until you can get them softly without losing them, you kinda have to put up with getting 0 on some.
Keep in mind there are different ways to "shake" the device... even if you can get the other ones, it doesn't mean you're necessarily shaking in the best possible way. – Ceegers, on September 03, 2009 21:40
