The "clear:both" styles are still present on your page, Christine, so you failed to actually remove them and save the file for whatever reason.
Are you using the latest version (0.1.5)? And are you sure you overwrote the old file? (also, the css file should be seesmic-wp.css, not seesmic.css, but i bet that's what you meant...)
It looks like they're going to fix this in a later version, at least!

Yeah... it looks like "clear:both" is forcing the first video to display below your sidebar div. That is something specific to your theme, but that we need to consider in the development of future versions. – Thomas Knoll, on June 23, 2008 22:27

I had this problem too and i guess it depends on wich other plugins you have installed (like comment live view, or comment edit). Since I experimented a lot and it's working now, I'm sorry to not exactly repeat the error. Just happy it's working now :)
It also depends on wich browser and flash version you use!

Great suggestions! That would be a cool way to do it. In fact that is my own personal preference: for the supplemental text to be the key frame, so that it's the first thing you see when scanning comments. – Thomas Knoll, on June 23, 2008 00:28

In Seesmic you have just the topic, maybe you could ad the text as the last picture you see if the video has ended. Or an Option where you can choose to see the text at the beginning before you hit the play button.
I like it the way YouTube Video response does it, but there you have a whole side for your video only and you would need the space for the text.

The idea is to start to allow community curation of the product data, and what you describe would definitely be part of it. – Scott Fleckenstein, on May 19, 2008 14:50
