Minor cosmetic: Highlighting ShareRoom changes color of share status icon.Minor cosmetic: Highlighting ShareRoom changes color of share status icon.
When you create a share and look in the Share tab, select the line with the share by clicking on it. This results in the share line being highlighted, however this also seems to change the icon color from green to yellow which can cause confusion on what the actual status of this ShareRoom is.
A comment on the question "How to backup or sync a single file?" in SpiderOak:
If it's coming, that's good to hear. Jungle Disk does have a nice very flexible file selection dialog that others could learn from. CrashPlan falls in between. – Chris Epler, on April 19, 2009 16:33

Volume Snapshot Service (VSS) Support for WindowsWould be nice to see VSS support on the Windows platform for backing up locked/in-use files.
A comment on the question "How to backup or sync a single file?" in SpiderOak:
NONE? Really? CrashPlan does, JungleDisk does. They normally work by allowing you to click on a folder which selects everything under it. You can then unclick files/folders under there to exclude items. This is BASIC functionality, nothing that advanced. It's sad to see users just accept this limitation in an application. – Chris Epler, on April 19, 2009 14:45-

Better info on transfer rateThere needs to be more feedback as to how fast the uploads are progressing. A simple percentage just isn't really all that helpful. Give us Kb/sec or Mb/sec info.

Ability to cancel transfers in the queue.Work is needed on your queue... It looks like you just queue things up as they are found to backup, AND you don't allow us to reorder the queue.
Suggested improvements:
Allow canceling queued items
Allow re-ordering up/down of the queued items
Intelligent queueing similar to what CrashPlan does, most recently modified files and small files first, then the rest.

Permit GUI-less Linux install/signup.I don't have X on my Linux servers and don't intend to install it. It'd be nice to have a nice simple text based setup/signup for SpiderOak. Maybe for the Captcha it could give you a URL to retrieve the Captcha from to input it in a text field? Dunno, but it needs a totally text only mode for it to be useful for me on my Linux boxes.

Run as a service in Windows.Create a backend service in Windows to perform the backup/sync/merge etc operations so that the program can work without having to login.
Chris Epler replied on April 19, 2009 02:21 to the question "Change sort order for folder" in Motionbox:
This really isn't an acceptable sort method. Have you tried to manually sort a folder with 50+ videos in it? It's a royal pain in the behind! This functionality should be expanded to permit quick sorting as well as manual sorting. Add a few buttons in there or a drop-down to allow you to sort by the same options that you can sort by in the 'sort by' menu at the bottom of the page.-

Per Page setting doesn't stick. After setting the mode to the grid/icon mode and then tagging some videos to edit tags on, once I save and am returned to the video list the Per Page setting returned for '48' instead of '12'.

Editings tags on videosIt'd be nice if we had the option to show tags on videos and also in that same area had a quick link to edit those tags. The process of checking off a checkbox in the video list then going up to hit edit then select 'tags' is a bit tedious, seems it could be streamlined like how you can edit the description and title of a video.
A comment on the question ""motionbox" vs. Vimeo .... what are the big differences ?" in Motionbox:
I'd be careful how you use the words "archival storage", from your terms of service:

Some user content may not be stored, served or processed due to space constraints, bandwidth limitations or disruptions in the system(s). You agree that Motionbox is not responsible or liable for the deletion or failure to store, serve or process any user content or other information.
Accounts may be terminated and/or deleted from our system or content may be removed from accounts if they remain inactive for a period of ninety (90) or more days. In the event of a suspension or deletion of an account, User Content may no longer be accessible... – Chris Epler, on April 14, 2009 01:40
