Thanks Trevor!
Agreed with the focus issues. Easily fixed (and will be in the next release) for the first page (where you enter the long URL). That used be the case, and I suspect the change to a new layout some months back broke that.
The second issue also needs addressing. I'll look at the tab order and focus a bit more. I have to cater for users with no Flash, and cross-browser support, so that might take me a bit longer, but I will address it.
I'll post an update here when it's done. Thanks for taking the time to make the suggestion.

There's a bookmarklet which will do the same thing, just not in the exact same location as you describe.
In Firefox, if you have the Bookmarks Toolbar enabled, you can drag the bookmarklet to the Bookmarks Toolbar. Then, when you visit any site, just click on the new "URL.ie" bookmark and it'll truncate that URL for you. However it does that in the same page. (If you don't have the toolbar enabled, go to the "View" menu > "Toolbars" and tick/check the "Bookmarks toolbar" option.)
I'm looking at adding support for URL.ie to one of the existing Firefox plugins, but that'll be some time yet.
If you have any issues with using the bookmarklet, I'll be happy to help, if I can.
cgarvey replied on May 26, 2009 15:51 to the idea "Cut n paste" in xennaNET:
I'm not sure I understand the request here. How can you copy (or cut) something without going to the clipboard? Cut/Copy/Paste are all to/from the clipboard, no?
You can copy the generated short URL by clicking on it, and if you've a recent version of Adobe Flash, it'll copy it automatically to the clipboard on that click. If not, just use the standard way (e.g. CTRL+C) to copy it to the clipboard.
If you just can't use the clipboard at all, then I can't see any way to get your generated short URL in to a Wod document. An email, maybe (by way of a new HTML link on the page), but not Word.
So, please clarify, and I'll try to help if I can!

Cheers Stuart!
Another tip: Add "/m" at the end of any URL.ie URL to view that URL through Google's mobile content proxy (saves on bandwidth and helps with older phones). I.e. http://url.ie/1 would become http://url.ie/1/m

All those update attempts that were giving 500 Internal Error responses, were actually going through, much to the annoyance of my followers, I'm sure. Nice one! – cgarvey, on January 09, 2009 12:58

cgarvey asked a question in LouderVoice on December 17, 2008 00:33:
How do I delete a draft review?I can see my list of published reviews with edit/delete links. However my list of draft reviews has no such edit/delete links, and I can't see any obvious way to delete a draft review.
My usage scenario is that I somehow messed up a review with multiple draft versions, and after publishing, a draft was still left behind. So now I don't intend to publish that draft review.

Edit link on your own reviews (to save time/mouse clicks)One idea is to have an Edit link on the general/public view of a review you wrote, to save having to go to your profile and the few clicks thereafter.-
