This is something I want too and he means integrating something like this: http://shortentweet.com/ ..... TweetDeck has this and it really comes in handy when your tweets are longer than 140 characters and you want to abbreviate as much as you can to shorten it.

My only problem with this is that I keep seeing "Twitter indicates that you're not allowed to make this request" when I click to see what it's in reply to.

+10 This is DEFINITELY needed! I don't want every post going to Ping.fm that's tacky.... especially posting @replies through Ping.fm, it just makes no sense to me. I want to choose which tweets get sent through Ping.fm.

I want to be able to choose when a tweet is sent through Ping.fm because I don't want EVERY tweet or reply being sent through Ping.fm.
