Chad Gartner replied on November 05, 2009 16:17 to the question "back to back programs on sx" in Tightrope Media Systems:
John,
You can schedule programs back to back on the same output as long as they're trimmed to size, meaning there is no cue time needed on the file. (Cablecast 5.0 will allow back to back with cue times, but the current autopilot logic doesn't handle it well.) The only other limitation I can think of is that there is a minimum show length of five seconds, so be sure any quick station IDs are at least five seconds long.
Let us know if you've got any other questions!

Nathan,
Can you try this beta build for me and let me know if it works? I had luck on my laptop running 64bit Windows 7. http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/602099/Cab...

Cor,
You should have no issues getting that to work if you feed your local radio station into the line input on the back of your Carousel unit. (The blue 1/8" stereo mini jack)
You'll also need to set the background audio settings to use the line input (Configure : Channel : <your> : Background Audio Settings) and connect the green line output from the Carousel to the audio input of the routing switcher.

Jon,
Looks like we missed that diagram mix-up in proofing. Thanks for letting us know!
As for only seeing the audio feed, it sounds like the SX Live is getting a dedicated input from the Carousel. Are you taking a free router output into the SX Live? If so, I would guess that is your issue. Cablecast can only switch a single router output when controlling your channel. (The output going to your modulator, in this case.) The best way around this is to install a 1x2 distribution amplifier on the output of your router that feeds your modulator, splitting the signal two ways. (One will continue to go to your modulator, the other will go to your SX Live.)

Trevor,
By chance is the feed you're viewing public so we can test it here? Or by chance could we get your Quicktime announcement file? You can e-mail it to support@trms.com
Thanks!
