A comment on the problem "Twitters to Facebook are cut off." in Brightkite:
Yea, it's an issue with those customized variables that's causing the link to get truncated. What it should be doing is cutting off part of the caption and posting the full link. Clearing the variables out and then retyping them has fixed the problem for some people, but we are still looking into what's causing it. – Lesley, on July 22, 2008 23:33

Ah, I see. If you go under Account Settings -> Sharing you'll see customization links next to notes, photos, and checkins. Click on the one for notes and replace whatever text is there with this: $note - $link
It may be the exact same text, but still give it a shot and try posting a test note (something long enough to get truncated when shared to Twitter). Please let us know if that doesn't do the trick.

HTML/Javascript errors at line 2 char 1 object expectedIt seems that the HTML/Javascript badge is causing errors. I get an error on line 1 char 2 object expected. This bug shows up on my personal blog http://www.challgren.com and the Twitter badge generator.
