of note - i use classic windows menu, so i couldn't find the "set program access and defaults" until i switched back to the xp menu appearance, but once i did, i found it, fixed it, and it appears to be working. thanks a million! -

i can't send files using right click 'send to' shortcut option all of a suddeni have same problem as brenna earlier, with the exception that i already checked my settings under internet options, and mozilla thunderbird is my default email client already. for me, this started occurring this morning, as soon as thunderbird had installed an automatic update. it asked me to restart thunderbird, which i did, but now i can't send files as attachments by right clicking on them and using the 'send to' shortcut menu.
i'm on version 2.0.0.22 now.
thanks in advance for any and all help.
i also think my wife is having the same problem at house, because she told me two days ago that she can't send emails anymore. i'm beginning to think she probably already updated her thunderbird, and is encountering the same thing i am. -
