yes, that's how you're supposed to get your coupon. you are supposed to get a reply email back w/the promo code. however, i had to call them b/c i never got a reply and was given the code over the phone...i do have a code you could use, just use promo code "luckybreaks8" - i got the code from this month's issue (July) of "lucky magazine". as for your question re: preorders, i'm not really sure, but i don't think you are charged until it ships. hope this info helps!
