Chelsea with Quicken replied on September 28, 2009 15:58 to the question "Cant open Quicken Personal Plus generated QDF file in Quicken Personal edition." in Intuit:
Hi there David,
Quicken (owned by Intuit and based in the U.S.) is actually slightly different than what is distributed by Reckon.
I found Reckon's support site for you: http://www.quicken.com.au/Support/def...
I would recommend this as a starting point, since we don't provide support for internationally licensed products here in the U.S.
Hope this helps,
Chelsea

Hi there,
This is Chelsea from Quicken.
Quicken for Mac will be available in February 2010.
If you have product suggestions for Quicken, which is sounds like a lot of folks on this thread do, please join our Inner Circle (www.quicken.com/innercircle). It's really the best way to give us actionable suggestions, participate in surveys, and get your voices heard by the product team.
Thanks,

Hi there,
Happy to help. Do you mind emailing me at chelsea_marti@intuit.com with a little bit more information? It'd be really helpful to know what year and version of Quicken you are using (i.e. Quicken Deluxe 2009 for the PC).
Thanks!
Chelsea

Hi hslaughter,
Will you email me at chelsea_marti@intuit.com? I'd like to get you more help from a support professional directly.
If you do, please include your contact details, current version of Quicken, version you're upgrading to, and your OS details.
If you include all of these details, it'll help me get someone from support in touch with you quickly to address the problems you're having with upgrading.
I'm especially concerned with helping you get your data file back in working order.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Chelsea
Chelsea with Quicken replied on March 06, 2009 23:22 to the problem "Why does Intuit disable functionality that I've paid for?" in Intuit:
Hi hlslaughter,
All online connectivity will be disabled in Quicken 2006 as of the end of April 2009. So using Quicken BillPay won't bring that functionality back to the product.
However, we do have this promotion going on right now, if you're interested in signing up for BillPay: http://quicken.intuit.com/quicken-bil...
You will get a free version of Quicken Premier 2009 plus one month free: http://quicken.intuit.com/quicken-bil...
Hope this helps you a bit.

Chelsea with Quicken replied on March 03, 2009 20:26 to the problem "I can not access my Quicken financial account for the lack of a icon o n the home page" in Intuit:
Hi Don,
Sorry you are having trouble. Do you have Quicken Online or Quicken Desktop? Are you using a Quicken Mac or PC product?
You can get to Quicken Online here: https://www.quickenonline.com.
If you are on Windows: For Quicken desktop you should be able to go under your "Start menu" on your desktop, open up "All Programs" and look for Quicken.
To set up a desktop icon, I would go under the start menu again, and go to help. Type it "put a shortcut on the desktop" and you should get some step by step instructions.
Let me know more info. and how I can contact you directly to help solve the problem.

Chelsea with Quicken replied on February 23, 2009 19:19 to the problem "Why does Intuit disable functionality that I've paid for?" in Intuit:
Hi hlslaughter,
I understand what you're saying - you're frustrated by the discontinuation of Quicken 2006 to your financial institution. For what it's worth, there are company costs associated with maintaining a connection to the financial institution. The product cost includes three years of this connection in addition to the software itself.
How can I contact you directly to see how else I can help?
Chelsea with Quicken replied on February 22, 2009 00:50 to the problem "Why does Intuit disable functionality that I've paid for?" in Intuit:
Hi hlslaughter,
This is Chelsea from Quicken. I'm sorry you feel frustrated by the Quicken 2006 discontinuation.
We have to do this periodically to continue improving new versions of Quicken. One way we do this is by managing the costs associated with supporting older releases; so we support the current version and the two previous versions. This helps us provide you with service, while still providing solutions at the lowest cost possible.
We are focused on making the transition to a new product (if you choose to do so) as easy as possible. Quicken customers will receive a minimum of $20 off when they upgrade to Quicken (Deluxe, Premier and Home & Business 2009). This offer will end on May 31, 2009.
Another option, depending on your personal finance needs, is the free, Web-based Quicken Online (www.quickenonline.com). This product helps consumers get started with basic personal finance.

I'm happy to answer more questions for you, but hopefully this has helped some.
