When you place your cursor over the update a little trash can should show up and a bending arrow. Click the trash can and it will ask you if you're sure you want to delete it, just click yes and it will be gone.

Twitter isn't updating.
Twitter isn't updating, my last post says half a minute ago when I actually posted it about 7 hours ago, I'm not receiving any posts from people I'm following either. It's like Twitter is at a stand still.
