Double posts of pictures sent from cell phone

I was searching to see if anyone has been having this problem and I found some postings from 6 months ago, but nothing newer.

I notice that anytime I post a photo from my cell phone, it gets posted to Brightkite and Twitter twice. In the past, whenever this has happened, I just deleted one from Brightkite (and the message associated with it on Twitter.) Yesterday I used my phone to post three pictures. I haven't deleted the duplicates this time.

Could it be my old phone (Nokia 6235i), or maybe my mobile provider (Alltel)?

I noticed something similar when I updated my location for the first time today. I changed my location when I was out from my cell phone using an address, then when I got home I checked in using "Home" as my location. It updated my Twitter location as my town, but did not include the state. I had to go into my Twitter settings to add my state.

I would like the message from the pictures sent from my phone to show up in the description of the photo, and I would like a way to edit the photo later to show the location and description. Could either be possible?
