back to tears. can't get new install to connect.
would like to just download from scratch. if only i could connect.-

OK. . .I was able to get the old install of thunderbird on the old computer to see the old files ;-) yippee!
now looking for step by step to move from xp machine to vista machine without redownloading everything.
also still have problem of not being able to get new install on new computer to log into google apps. old install doesn't have a problem. thanks for any guidance1 -

Had been using it on old computer. tried to move over the files from the old computer by copying everything in the application data folder to new computer, thunderbird folder. Now can't see them in thunderbird on old computer but it looks like the file is still there. Also can't get them to be seen on the new computer. Also can't get new install to connect to googleapps mail. ?? -

Confirmed address repeatedly. . .missed call from courier, who left his office number but not cell phone number, so no way to reach him. no one answers the office number, how handy is that. called customer service, no help.
when I finally tracked down courier, he said he didn't put my bag in the truck. nice. what kind of system is that? checked bag never got on plane, courier never put bag on truck. complete failure to understand basic concept of moving object from point A to point B. -
