Agreed, William, we are going to build in this kind of capability. It will probably be an admin tool that lets you "Change this topic type." For now, a workaround can be to flag it as inappropriate with a note, and I will change it if it is possible. Not ideal, I know, but feel free to call on me for this kind of help until we've built it into the set of company tools.

As an admin, I'd like to be able to change (or suggest a change) of a "question" into an "idea". If you look at Delicious Monster's area, we already have two ideas that were incorrectly termed "questions," so they can't be voted up, and they don't have all the cool extra-sauce that ideas do.
I think this misfiling will be increasingly common, since I didn't really see the "idea vs. question" thing at first either -- we need a way to keep things orderly and sane, or this will spiral out of control and be useless. I would recommend a big popup instead of a tabbed bar that looks disabled. And I'd recommend some warning words at the top if there's no "?" in a new "question" 's title.
Like, "Hey, that doesn't look like a question, are you sure you're not posting an idea? Click here!"

Wait, so I can just add a message to my previous topic over on a different board saying "Eric! Can you change this to a problem?" and you'll magically appear and change it? Or do I come over here and ask for you?
Either way, this is great.
Upon further reflection though, I might start a new topic so I can phrase the topic subject appropriately.

You can change it for 15 minutes or until someone replies, but once people are participating the topic's locked down. But if you miss the timeframe and it's still really bugging you, then all you have to do is ask (either in the topic thread, or to our community manager Eric via email at eric -at- getsatisfaction.com), and we'll make the change for you.

How do I change a topic's type from "Question" to "Problem"?I asked a question, and now I think it's a problem because there's no answer. Can I change the topic type to "Problem" without starting a new topic?

You're right. This is a bigger problem than I thought it was. Looks like you've found a bug. Sandy is not parsing the time correctly. You might want to mark this thread as a problem rather than a question. (Red exclamation mark.) I tried the same things you did: (It's about 2:45 pm right now.)
#1> remind me to move my car in 2 hours and 15 minutes. @todo
#2> remind me to move my car in 2 hours 15 minutes. @todo
#3> remind me to move my car in 2.25 hours. @todo
#4> remind me to move my car in 2 :15 minutes. @todo
#5> remind me to move my car in 135 minutes. @todo
The only one that worked right was #5.
#1 Sandy set a reminder in 2 hours (Sandy missed the 15 minutes)
#2 Sandy set a reminder in 2 hours (Sandy missed the 15 minutes)
#3 Sandy set a reminder at 2:25 pm (The next day)
#4 Sandy set a reminder at 2:15 pm (The next day)
#5 Sandy set a reminder at 5:08 pm (Correct!)
#1 and #2 are clearly errors.
In addition to your problem, I've personally had problems telling Sandy to remind me of something in "a half hour". That didn't work and instead set a reminder for 7 am the next day. When I used numbers and had her remind me of something in "30 minutes" then it worked.-
