Hi Scott,
First: Yes, actually turning off the "show conversation" under View seems to fix it, too. But toggling the conversation to display only messages in the current folder also seemed to work.
Second: No! Clicking the specific message is where I have the problem. No message content displays at all. If I double click the message, still nothing. I have to hit "reply" to see the message content (as quoted therein).
Thanks for your diligence!

b8 Conversation Display Mucked Up!After installing b8, the conversation display has gone wonky. A picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll add a screenshot.
---A message that was once a part of a conversation doesn't display at all after other parts of their conversation are deleted
---Subject line in display window doesn't match the selected message
---Messages are erroneously assigned to conversations
See the image.

Messages attributed to wrong conversationsHere's a screenshot of the issue I posted in another post. Since the upgrade to 1.0b7 Postbox has been erroneously lumping messages into conversations/threads with unrelated emails. In fact, as I was typing this message and an email notification came in from Get Satisfaction and it was lumped in with an unrelated work email.
Screenshot is from one that happened earlier:

Version 1.0b7 has the sniffles!!!I shan't let this slip affect my profound and newfound affection for Postbox, but it is ironic that with the move into Public Beta, the app seems buggier than in the last two beta versions. I have:
--a dysfunctional preview screen
--phantom entries showing up in the inbox
--problems with mis-categorized conversations
Are these noted? Are they being addressed?
Bring back the love!!!

Phantom items showing up in InboxAfter the latest upgrade, the Inbox has been acting strangely. When I delete all of the items from a conversation, a phantom entry remains dates 12/31/69 and I'm unable to delete it. It doesn't show up in my IMAP account (mobileme).
The other thing is that after the latest upgrade to public beta (version 1.0b7 (2009020805)) Postbox has been attributing emails to the wrong conversation.
1.0b6 was working so swimmingly!

Chip Warren replied on January 29, 2009 13:56 to the problem "Sent Folder not populating emails" in Postbox, Inc.:
To be clear what was occurring for me --- Postbox created its own "Sent" folder in my IMAP account (mobile me in this case). So when I looked in my original sent items I wouldn't see the messages. Then I noticed the other "Sent" items and there they were.
Also something to check: if you set your preferences to save your sent items in your Local Folders, you have to change accounts by clicking "Local Folders" in the Accounts pane in the upper left corner of the window. There would be a Sent folder in your local folders list if that's the case.
