Definitely makes more sense.
But what about adding another option "friends feed" to disable /friends? maybe I don't like to have the friend list because of design reasons around but like to see their feed without logging in (as described above). Hmm... of course I could hack the css to display:none the friend list then.

plz undo this, this sucks. I have the friends tab hidden on my soup but use /friends myself often on the road/at work to see what they posted without having to log in. Please let me have /friends even without the tab on my page.
Actually... seems like I don't have the friends tab disabled but /friends redirects to / anyway (custom domain)... check out http://soup.hacksause.de/friends

i noticed, that if you add "/friends" to any given soup.io adress, you'll get the friendlist of that soup, even if the owner hasn't maked it visible.
Would be great, if this'll be fixed, or there'll be a real hideable list of soups, just to see recent posts, without marking these soups as friends.
