Chris asked a question in Slife Labs on April 11, 2009 15:25:
SLife Window spontaneously reopens (Mac)Instead of minimizing SLife (which would take up more space in the task bar) I like to close the window instead. When I do this, SLife keeps running. However, the window seems to spontaneously reopen again, with no apparent trigger on my part. It would be preferable if SLife could follow the OS X convention of running windowless, until the user clicks on the running app icon, or the app regains focus.

Chris asked a question in Beanstalk on September 11, 2008 16:46:
Subversion 1.5?What version of Subversion is Beanstalk using? (1.5 has some valuable new features...)
Chris reported a problem in Beanstalk on September 11, 2008 16:42:
Signup, login and password-change are not secureYesterday I noticed that Beanstalk's sign-up, login and account edit screens do not submit passwords securely. If you're performing these actions on a shared/untrusted network, there's a risk that somebody could sniff your password and gain access to your account information and/or your otherwise secure repository.
I brought this up with Chris Nagele yesterday on CampFire who said that they would secure the affected screens.
If you're concerned about this risk, in the meantime until this issue is resolved, you can take the precaution of changing your password on a trusted network, i.e. "Don't do this on Starbuck's wifi".
