Hi Robert,
projangles.scrumd.com
You may need to check the logs, but the bank said the first attempt at payment went through. However, I didn’t get an email invoice/receipt.
Thanks,

I'm getting this too. I paid my bill (first time) this morning. It looked like the transaction didn't go through (but it had, according to MasterCard), so I tried it again, which caused my bank to put a security watch on my card! I only noticed it when Amazon rejected my card a minute ago...
Either way, I can't access my sprint. Let me in!! – Chris Walsh, on June 02, 2009 15:14-

Such is the life of the application developer! You can't keep all of the people happy all of the time. User interfaces are just so personal, in terms of what people like and dislike.
In this instance my own view is that if a button is there but not enabled it tells me that I can't do it. If the button is not there at all it tells me it can't be done. Two very different things for an app.
Just my own opinion, but good luck with finding a happy solution!! – Chris Walsh, on May 13, 2009 13:17

Ah ok. I see it now.
I guess that makes sense, given the Scrum process.
Would it be possible to make this a little more transparent? Maybe display all the buttons, but only enable the one's available to the logged-in user, with a little explanation via a tooltip? It might be a bit of a screen real-estate hog, but it would ease usage issues such as this. It would also highlight the distinction between Scrum roles for people new to the process.
It's something to consider anyway...

Hi Justin,
On the Sprint Backlog Tab, all of the Tasks under each User Story in the Sprint are set to 'Done'. Is this what you mean?
I don't see a place where I can explicitly 'close' a User Story.

Yes, I'm the ScrumMaster. When I click 'Close', I get the message: "Iteration cannot be completed if all tasks are not done." But all the tasks are indeed set to "Done". Like Agata said, perhaps this is because I deleted some tasks, which were then not closed during the sprint?? – Chris Walsh, on May 12, 2009 11:34

Chris Walsh replied on April 30, 2009 11:00 to the question "Burndown Chart not informative enough" in Atlantic Dominion Solutions:
Hi Robert,
Perhaps I'm a product of my environment! When I took the Scrum training many years ago, I got an Excel template for managing sprints that generated the burndown graph as sprint metrics were updated. This chart had an "ideal" line in it.
Even back then it caused much heated debate as to both it's purpose and it's effect. (the usual cliches: When you're above the line it's a stick for management to beat the team with, when you're below the line it makes the team relax too much)
Still, I have a certain fondness for it, due to the immediate visual clues it gives. Too far above the line: Do we need to stop and re-plan?; Too far below the line: Can we pull in extra tasks? How do we improve how we estimate tasks?
Ok, I'll concede on the ideal line thing (I can always take a ruler and a sharpie to my monitor >P ). But I would still like a birds-eye view of the sprint. This would mean graphing the Y-Axis from 0 to TotalHours, and graphing the X-axis from StartDate to FinishDate (Like my second graph above, without the ideal line)
Like this one! (Mountain Goat/Mike Cohn again)

Maybe (someday) "Ideal velocity" could also be optional via a check box!?!

Burndown Chart not informative enoughCan I get an "ideal" line to appear in the Burndown Charts? Here's my chart:
After a number of days sprinting, It doesn't really tell me anything about my progress, does it? Even if there isn't an ideal velocity line, the Y-axis should still start at 0, so I can see how far above the floor I am.
I'm look for something like this:
Is this how the chart works or have I left out some vital info?

Linking is the main thing:
Old school CamelCase to start with, but preferably Free links:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedi...
Supporting the Creole standard, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creole_(markup) would be great

What wiki markup does the Scrum'd wiki support?Just wondering what markup the wiki supports. I can't seem to get Free links to work.
Cheers
