We're brand new, but quickly growing. Please bear with us. All of our listings are posted by real humans, so its going to take some time. Meanwhile, I encourage you to promote listings of your own and promote them to your friends. You, and other people like you, doing just that is exactly what will help us become more prominent in Florida (and other areas as well).

Good to hear Brent. Really appreciate providing us w/ those benchmarks. Unfortunately, none of us are nearly that popular on Twitter... so we had no good way to test how much our speed improvements were helping. Sounds like they worked.

Thanks for asking. These are our favorite types of questions. One of the best ways you can help is simply by telling your friends how cool you think iList is. Raving fans our always our best evangelists. An easy way to do this is by simply promoting one of your listings to your social networks... then we both win. :)

There are many other ways people have been helping out to spread the word as well. Blog posts are good. We also have an open Developer's API (http://ilist.com/api). If you technically inclined, you can build widgets/applications on our API.

Anything else you can think of, we're open to. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

Thanks for the feedback Foothold. We've heard similar feedback re: Get Satisfaction from others as well. While we all love Get Satisfaction over here, we're going to make sure we also have a simple email feedback option available. We want to make it as easy as possible for people to give us their 2 cents. ;)

Hi Brent. Thanks for the feedback, as well as the great blog post. We're working on different ways to make the browsing process more relevant, with a focus on the first page. We want to make sure if people are looking for something on iList, they can find it quickly and easily.

Are you social networks all linked up now? Any issues should have been resolved (some accounts w/ lots of contacts would take a while to link up, but we've sped that up quite a bit as well).

Sorry Charlie. In your case, I'm afraid you're at the mercy of lap-steel-guitar owners, waiting them to post their good deal. :)

In the meantime, one thing you might try: Post a wanted ad to iList for a lap steel guitar (maybe just prefix your listing title with "WANTED:"). Promote that listing to your friends and family. Its possible one of them will either have what you're looking for, or know someone that does (they can promote your listing to their friends and family as well). That's really the benefit of iList. Its a very easy way to spread the word to your networks, whether you're the one with the guitar, or you're looking for one.

Sorry if one of our emails you annoyed you Josh. Email preferences are definitely in the works. Outside of that, we try to keep the volume of emails to our users pretty low. We get pretty annoyed by spam as well.

When was your listing posted? We've pushed out some changes within the last 24 hours which should help. If you are still having issues, please post a link to your listing on iList so we can investigate.
