Chris Abad replied on October 31, 2008 18:32 to the problem "Twitter account is suspended." in iList:
Very strange. Twitter promotions have never been a problem in the past, and we're not doing anything on our end that should be against Twitter's TOS. The only thing I could think of would be something with the actual content of your promotion (which we have no control over).
I'll contact Twitter myself just to make sure we're not doing anything to upset them. However, I would suggest you contact Twitter as well to determine exactly why they suspended you. Please let me know what you find out.

Sorry, I'm confused. Did you mean to post this to Twitter? You've posted your questions to support for iList (http://ilist.com).

Chris Abad replied on October 27, 2008 22:38 to the question "Image issues (continued)" in iList:
Sorry, let me clarify... The native size for *profile* pictures is 90x90. The native size for *listing* pictures is actually 630x293.
That being said, if that's still confusing it might be easier just to know "your profile picture should be square, and your listing photo should be a (wide) rectangle." Outside of that, you can just upload what you have and let us resize for you.
If you're still having trouble, it'll be helpful if you send me your iList username so I can take a look at your profile/listing.

Chris Abad replied on October 27, 2008 21:55 to the question "Help. There's no help..." in iList:
Sorry for the confusion... iList is still pretty new so please bare with us. We've added some inline help where we felt it was necessary, but we're learning more as people ask more questions.
As far as the profile pics, a 90px x 90px (square) jpg will work best. However, you can use just about any image you want (jpg, gif, png), and we'll do our best to resize it for you. If you want to size the image yourself, there are other websites out there that can help. Here's a link to one, w/ the proper dimensions preset:

As for this help section, you're right this isn't iList. Get Satisfaction is a great online community that does a great job managing feedback for us (so we don't have to). Using Get Satisfaction allows us to get you answers quickly, then spend most of our time focused on making iList even better.

Chris Abad replied on October 27, 2008 21:22 to the problem "Description Field To Big" in iList:
The length of your description content actually is not the reason for the content bleeding into the footer. I assume you're using Internet Explorer 7? We found a bug w/ IE7 recently that causes this issue. The problem has since been resolved, and will go out with the next code push.
Balance in the Force should be restored by tomorrow. ;)

Chris Abad replied on October 27, 2008 17:38 to the question "Invite Friends by Email" in iList:
Because of all the social network integration (as well as simply emailing your listing to friends), we don't currently have an "invite friends by email" option for iList.
Emailing your listing directly to your friends (no social networks required) will get you the the karma points you're looking for. :)

Chris Abad replied on October 23, 2008 00:58 to the question "I wanted to know what I can do to help" in iList:
First, sorry for misunderstanding your question. Second, that's awesome! :) Still, spreading the word through our social networks about your listings and friends' listings is one of the best things you can do.
We also have an open developer's API. If you're a developer, or have developer friends, you can build applications on top of iList (both pushing and pulling of data is currently supported).
Outside of that, you're more than welcome to use our logo to promote how awesome you think iList is. It'd be great to have some "iList evengelists" out there on the Internet. We're fresh out of the gates with this, so I'm open to any other ideas you might have. Feel free to contact me directly at chris [at] ilist [dot] com.
