Hi Julien,
We have a variety of methods to submit documents, and here is an example using Javascript which you requested:
http://vuzit.com/developer/example_vi...
You can use this to submit a new document, but keep in mind that this method should only be used for documents that don't require tight security. Our Upload APIs allow you to specify whether or not you need to authenticate with Vuzit in order to view the document or any of it's associated content or meta-data. Here is the HTTP Upload API:

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi shiva,
Yes, the URL just must be addressable on the internet. For instance, I should be able to open a web browser from any location and load the document you are submitting.
Our basic plans are free, but are not fully featured. You can view all of our plans here: http://vuzit.com/signup
If you have any other questions, then please let me know. -Chris

Hi Shiva,
I'm sorry to say that the Javascript API does not support viewing of local files in this way.
However, you can use our Upload APIs to 'push' documents to Vuzit. We currently have libraries for Microsoft .NET, PHP, and Ruby (with more on the way). You can find the documentation here:
http://vuzit.com/developer#uploading
Alternatively, we have an HTTP-based web services API which you can use directly if we don't support your language of choice:
http://vuzit.com/developer/documents_api
There is currently no way to push the documents to Vuzit using only Javascript. As you probably already know, you could put the document online temporarily and submit that URL to Vuzit.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Best, -Chris

This document was deleted at 03:30 EDT this morning.
I apologize that the message wasn't clear. It appears this was uploaded a long time ago, and I agree that the messaging was less clear, at that time, than it is today.
I appreciate your suggestion for the pop-up message, and I've added a case for this in our system which we will discuss internally.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Best, -Chris
