Note that (6 months later):
* Windows Vista, recent OS X releases and Linux distributions have IPv6 autoconfiguration enabled by default. Most applications shipped with these OSes also support IPv6.
* All modern web browsers support IPv6.
* Apple's Airport Extreme wireless gateway automatically creates and configures an IPv6 tunnel for you.
* Google provides its services over IPv6 at ipv6.google.com.
* 6 of the 13 root DNS servers are now accessible via IPv6.
* Some ISPs have begun supporting IPv6 natively (i.e. without IPv4 tunneling): http://www.sixxs.net/faq/connectivity...
* Free and reliable IPv6 tunneling remains available for anyone who wants it from many tunnel brokers worldwide.
So yes, IPv6 adoption has been slow, but there clearly is progress. Software from "almost everybody else" already supports IPv6. Now the main hinderance is networks and users.

Well, all of Internet2 and most of the research community is IPv6 capable so (like me for instance!) so if you made Wuala capable of using IPv6 if available it would most definitely get used. – Douglas Baggett, on September 12, 2008 13:53

If it is a single flie it will fail. I supposed he meant multiple files.. The problem with bigger files was reported here: http://wua.la/Wuala+Community/Bugs/On...
and it's already on the todo list

Last test: 10.02GB (12880 files) and it worked.
I'm actually impressed with this. Last time I tried to use one of these backup programs I couldn't upload anything. I guess that wuala's system integration has become better.
Regarding your problem, try to separate the job into different tasks maybe? 10GB each, 4 tasks for example. I don't know what kind of files are you trying to backup so I don't know if it is possible....

A comment on the idea "Web accessible files" in Wuala:
If Java version = webstart version: this enables you to view AND store files within Wuala. But you need an account to be able to write or store something. Anonym. access gives you only read access. – Roger, on July 21, 2008 12:39
A comment on the idea "Web accessible files" in Wuala:
I can only guess that the Java version will come with a view-only and (possibly later) with a write access version. The reason for this is that this applet is also meant to enable users who do not have your PW to be able to view your content iff you give them a link (that is as far as I can gather) – Darkstriker, on July 18, 2008 13:50
