Chris Drackett asked a question in Spreedly on November 11, 2009 01:04:
lifetime free trial > timed membershipSo I have a trial plan that does not expire and a membership that is 12 months. If a user signs up as a member after being a trial, their subscription has "lifetime" set to True. This seems confusing to me, as they are currently on a 12 month subscription, right?

Chris Drackett asked a question in Spreedly on November 10, 2009 01:08:
expiring grandfather planSo if a user is on a plan that we later decided to change or remove, they are grandfathered into that plan?
if so, when the users time expires on one of these plans, do they lose the ability to update their payment info and continue at the grandfathered plans level?

Chris Drackett marked one of Nathaniel Talbott's replies in Spreedly as useful. Nathaniel Talbott replied to the idea "The Edit subscription page should provide a link back to the application.".
Chris Drackett replied on October 23, 2009 05:54 to the problem "recurring is being returned false even when a subscription is set to auto-renew." in Spreedly:
it seems to be working now, here is the flow I was using without luck earlier today:
1. Sign a user up for a new membership (12 months) and do not set auto-renew
2. check subscription synced with api, recurring = False
3. login as member and click "update or edit subscription"
4. on spreedly choose "Renew this subscription automatically?"
5. Enter info, submit
6. curl -v --data-ascii subscriber_ids=13 http://127.0.0.1:8000/subscriptions/s...
7. check our database, recurring was still False

Chris Drackett asked a question in Spreedly on October 22, 2009 23:15:
confused about 'trial_elegible'Its a bit late in the day, but I'm confused how and when the "trial_elegible" flag is True for a user.
Chris Drackett reported a problem in Spreedly on October 22, 2009 20:17:
recurring is being returned false even when a subscription is set to auto-renew.My understanding is that the 'recurring' boolean that is returned with a user subscription is if the users plan is set to auto-renew or not. However, when I set a plan to auto renew, 'recurring' stays false.
