New feature: Mark venues as favorites

It would be really nice to be able to share your favorite venues, beyond the ones you have been to recently. Is this already perhaps made redundant by the tips people write? If so, that could probably be clarified so as to actually fulfill this function. Either way, it could make this even more fun and usable. I know I would actually be excited to go through venues just to mark them as my favorites, almost like collecting them.

My old laptop died, and I can't get the songs off my ipod touch and onto my new one.

Will the ipod device support extension allow me to sync the songs from my ipod to songbird?

I need to know before I sync. I don't want to sync and lose all my songs.

Protective Coating Coming off iPod USB / power cord - Safe? Fire?

After only a month of use, is it normal for the protective coating to be coming off the ends of my iPod USB cord?

This has me worried about fire safety because I am now plugging it into the wall, and I know there were problems with the first version of the wall plug.

I found the fix on another site. Apparently, iTunes messes up the clock and calendar during a sync when the program is left open during sleep sleep mode. Why? I don't know. I have never liked iTunes, and right now, the only thing keeping me from completely going to Songbird is my iPod Touch.

However, with this news and the knowledge that Songbird can interface with my iPod, I may be switching over and only using iTunes for things like the app store.

OK, I will have to go to an Apple store next time I am near one. I am currently in Athens, OH, which is nowhere near one.

It's generation 2. I just got it. I use it a lot, but the calendar and clock problems are problematic. There is something really crushing about something so basic not working on something so complicated.

The thing is, I looked it up, and it looks like a number of people are having this problem. I even tried resetting this time, and it took a couple times for it to reset to the right time/date.

Why do the date and time on my iPod Touch keep resetting to the wrong times? I was hoping to use the alarm on the clock to wake up to watch the inauguration today, but when I woke, I had missed it, and the date and time on the clock said 11:30 AM, January 9, 2009. This keeps happening, and it is really frustrating. I just missed history.
