Derek,
When you say:
Things Disappearing: This is typically a 'cache' issue. There are may ways in which we cache data and while we make every effort to keep these things in sync sometimes they get out of sync. Typically the data is still there, it's just not showing up."
... could you please clarify the part "Typically the data is still there, it's just not showing up."?
The reason I ask, I've entered several Events in my Timeline, however, the last few entries do not appear in the Timeline view. They only appear in the FlipBook view.
I've cleared my own cache, and attempted to view it in Firefox and IE, to no avail.
My latest entries do not appear on the Timeline, no matter what timeframe I specify on it. They seem "lost" in some Dipity chasm.

They do interact. Flock cannot run without Firefox installed. They also interact when importing data, such as Favorites.
Anyhow, I solved the problem in about:config in Flock, not Firefox. Hence, the issue was Flock.
Solved - by me.
But, thanks for the information about Options not porting over. That tells me the error was not caused by Firefox Options, rather Flock. Makes sense.
ChristinaEve replied on September 24, 2009 13:20 to the problem "Cannot Enter Text in Reply Fields in Flock" in Flock:
Hello Patirica,
Well, there were no "suggestions" above, other than to re-install the program.
However, I solved the problem myself by opening Flock, running about:config from the address bar, and changing a few pertinent strings:
browser.display.auto_quality_min_font_size
font.minimum
As well as, adding a string: font-minimum-size
For what it's worth, I believe the person having a similar problem on their Mac (link in initial post) would benefit from some config changes.
It appears the problem is generated when changes are made via Tools > Options within the main Firefox browser. And then, Flock doesn't capture all those changes, especially the strings listed above. Primarily those in Tools > Options > Main, and Tools > Options > Advanced. Again, within Firefox, not Flock.
There needs to be some protocol for Flock to recognize and implement changes within Firefox *after* Flock is installed.

Cannot Enter Text in Reply Fields in FlockI cannot enter text in Reply fields using Flock, latest version (2.5.3)
I *can* enter text in Reply fields using Firefox, latest version (3.5.3)
A similar issue is posted here - however it is for Mac (I'm on Windows Vista 32bit)
http://getsatisfaction.com/flock/topi...
A few details:
1) When I installed Flock, I imported all my Settings and Preferences from Firefox.
2) When I try to enter text in Firefox, it works. Here is an example:
* Note: Entering text in IE8 works fine, also.
3) However, when I try to enter text in Flock, at the same site above, this is what occurs:
4) I tried disabling all extensions. And as you can see, I have no plugins - removed them while troubleshooting:
5) I do not have a Master Password:
6) My mouse works fine in both Firefox and Flock.
What I've done to troubleshoot/repair:
1) Complete uninstall of Firefox and Flock / cleared cache and registry / reboot / fresh install of Firefox, then Flock.
2) Ran HijackThis - found no problems.
3) Ran virus checks - found no problems.
4) Turned off all antivirus programs and firewalls.
5) Tried Flock Safe Mode - flock.exe -safe-mode.
What is going on?

Okay, thanks Mike. I understand the Feed - my problem I think was,... I was looking at the iTunes Configuration from my Basic account and not my (company's) Pro account.
In Basic mode, only the last 2 videos uploaded were added to the iTunes Feed. Meaning, videos since Blip added the Aggregator options were added, but the previous episodes are not on the Feed. Yet, in Pro view, *all* the videos were placed in the Feed. Don't know why.
But, this solves my initial issue for Aggregators, so thank you.

Thanks Mike, that was helpful.
However, I'm having a problem with the iTunes Aggregator.
As you can see in the first screenshot, iTunes shows "Configured" by default.
So then, when I click the iTunes link ^^ to pull up the Configuration, there is no option to stop it from Aggregating. This is what I see after clicking on the iTunes link:
The videos I've upload since the change at Blip are now aggregating to the iTunes link. I want to stop that. How?

Upload Options Grayed Out. Cannot Change Aggregators in Distribution Section. Fix? (screenshot)Distribution Settings are Grayed Out - I Cannot Change Them. Fix? [screenshot]
For the past few days, since Blip modded its uploading form, I've not been able to able to select the Distribution for my videos.
I do NOT want my videos aggregated to ALL the defaults: iTunes, Yahoo, AOL, Mefeedia, and Blinkx.
I want to uncheck some of the Aggregators, but they're all grayed out. Even when I try clicking "Select All," it does nothing.
What's the fix? I'm not uploading anymore videos until I can modify these Settings. Thanks.

Bookmarks Not Appearing in Favorites Section. Solution?Note: I was directed by Evan Hamilton to start a new topic from this page [ http://bit.ly/w5FWQ ] regarding this error.
Problem: Bookmarks do not appear in the Favorites Section. However, History does.
Screenshot:
Install Details:
- Fresh install of Flock v 2.5 on Firefox 3.013 with no extensions.
Solutions attempted:
- Disabled addons in Firefox > Cleared all cache > Reboot
-- restarting from scratch --
- Exported Firefox Bookmarks to a save-file > then deleted all Firefox Bookmarks within the browser > Cleared all cache > Reboot. After which, I imported Firefox Bookmarks from save-file directly into Flock > they did not appear in the Favorites column
- Uninstalled Flock > Cleared all cache > Reboot > Re-installed Flock
Flock v 2.5 simply does not load any Bookmarks in the designated Favorites Column. Further, as stated above, it loads History in that section - and only History.
And in case you're wondering. Yes, I tried the newest version - Flock 2.5.2 with the same result.
I would like a solution. Now.
ChristinaEve replied on August 07, 2009 03:51 to the update "2.5 Auto-Upgrade Causing Favorites/Bookmarks Loss - Solution" in Flock:
Okay fine .. I'll go on a wild goose chase trying to remedy an issue which Flock is addressing here.
It's obviously a mistake by Flock to assume it's due to an auto-upgrade - because the missing Favorites occur with new *and* upgraded users.
Even previous users of Flock v1.2.6, who followed the above instructions could not locate their Favorites in the Sidebar.
As for your issue, could you please tell us if you chose to import from any other browser when you first install it?
Only Firefox 3.
Also, could you please disable all extensions you might have?
That was one of the first things I did when trying to troubleshoot this; did not work.
I can SEE (below) what issue is causing the problem, but I can't remedy it. If anyone at Flock would take the time to look at the Favorites parameters in about:config, they could figure out the conflict in the action.
ChristinaEve replied on August 06, 2009 18:04 to the question "how show or chage picture avatar" in Yoono:
My avatar is blank in the Yoono sidebar for both Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger.
For Live Messenger, I've had an avatar for a long time.. but it's not showing up in Yoono when I log into Live Messenger on the sidebar.
For Yahoo, I've had an avatar for a long time too... but it's also not showing up in the Yoono sidebar when I click Yahoo Messenger.
I've tried clearing all my cache, closing the browser, logging back in.. but there it is.. still !! The default gray, boring looking avatar.
HOW??
Yoono v2.5

ChristinaEve replied on August 06, 2009 09:34 to the update "2.5 Auto-Upgrade Causing Favorites/Bookmarks Loss - Solution" in Flock:
Evan,
Hold up a minute here!!
I did NOT have the previous version of Flock - ever. 2.5 is the first version I installed.. because I'm NEW to Flock and auditing for a Mashable review.
So, I did NOT have a the so-called "caused by the auto-upgrader" issue. I didn't auto-upgrade.
Then, you said "manual upgrading does not cause favorites loss."
Hello... again, I did a CLEAN, manual install. And yet, my Favorites are not appearing in the Favorites column.
So, now what!?!?
ChristinaEve replied on August 03, 2009 12:33 to the question "Why have my Bookmarks stopped loading?" in Flock:
I get it now. The Favorites aren't propagating correctly into the Flock folder under Favorites > Organize Favorites > Favorites Menu.
The subfolders, such as Bookmarks Toolbar have to be "copied to" the main Favorites Menu, then they show up.
What a pain. I had to do an export of my subfolders and then re-import them into the main Favorites Menu.
Buggy! Needs a fix.
