I'm finding the notifications management a little painful as well. I'm headed to SXSW and will be switching from Jabber to SMS. As I dont want a ton of SMS messages, it sure would be nice to be able to turn off notifications for everyone in one fell swoop, then I can manually enable notifications for those folks I'll be at SXSW with. Or better yet, how about using the "friends" setting as another tier of message enabling/disabling? "Get notifications from Friends only" or something...

Still broken... The 'bot replies to Stats/Help/On/Off, etc. But not tweets coming through it.

Aha. Is there a Twitter Status page somewhere? Might save a lot of frustration to have a central spot where people can see if there's an actual outage or something.

Yeah, looks like things failed for me as well overnight. Interesting twist - I usually hibernate my system overnight. When I "woke" it, Trillian reconnected to all the services (including Jabber), but Twitter was not on my Jabber list. I had to disconnected/reconnect to get Twitter to show up. Now, it's not even responding to "stats" or "help". Tried re-adding it in Settings and sent it the secret code, but still nothing.

Have deleted/re-added and am getting tweets again. I'll repost if/when it stops again.

On a side note - on the screen where you enter your IM, it always says "send updates to: twitter@twitter.com", regardless of what your IM is actually set to (for me, anyway). This is horribly misleading.

I'm having the same problem, only doing the delete/re-add process only seems to fix it for a day or two, then things go black again. Oddly enough, the other commands work (stats, help, etc). Sending ON doesn't fix it either. This has been happening for the last 2 weeks or so. Twitter says they've cleared my cache (how would I know?).
Web and Twitteroo work fine, just IM is broken.
