Chris White shared an idea in Nambu on November 24, 2009 01:59:
Option for spacebar shortcut to work in reverseOne of the really simple things that's been driving me a little nuts with Nambu is that the spacebar shortcut takes you to the newest unread tweet instead of the oldest which I think would be more useful. I never ready tweets from top down but I've got a strong habit of using the space bar (instead of arrows) to process through tweets because so many similar applications work that way. A few examples would be EventBox and ChillPill (Fever). I know others may like it this way so could we maybe get a option to reverse how it works?

Might I point out that they did move to another support platform a month ago and we (I) just didn't notice. It's not like they weren't in the process of killing this platform. – Chris White, on November 22, 2009 21:19-

Oh yikes, let's not overreact too much, @ashponders has stepped in and done what a lot of us were asking for, some kind of update on things and he's done that. I still think it's legit for us to ask them to reconsider but let's not nail the Atebits for letting us know that this feature isn't a priority for most of their users. There's no need to insult him or the company.

Chris White replied on November 12, 2009 17:43 to the problem "The UI Blocks During Network Operations" in Nambu:
I was mostly waiting on column view to finally setup my groups in Nambu desktop but I decided to go ahead and do it to start using the groups now. Unfortionatly, now that I have Nambu is 100% unusable for me due to spinning beachball stalls. I can't even get a single 140 character tweet composed without two-to-three approximately 30 second stalls and that's on average, sometimes it's worse. Reading tweets is a little better but I still have the app stalling out on me constantly.
I follow 425 people and I created 21 groups with a few people overlapping in multiple groups. I realize this is probably pushing the app pretty hard but that's the whole reason I want to use an app with groups in the first place.
