picture frame anchor pointI havent seen this posted yet, so forgive me if it has already been discussed. Is it possible to implement something where you can set an anchor point on photo frames? Not all my photos are the same size, and when the photo changes and resizes, it dosent cover the same area. I would like to see an option where you can set an anchor point on say the lower left or right corner (user choosable) and the phot will expand from there.
In my current desktop layout, I have photo frames in the bottom left and bottom right corners (family in one, and vacation photos in the other). I would like to anchor them in their corners, rather than allow them to flow and resize across my desktop.

Not to whip a dead horse, but I am currently having the exact same problem as the screen shot above. All my desktop icons (except for those added AFTER the problem occured) are tinted green and distorted. Trying to figure out how to fix this, but havent found any luck yet. Any help out there?

A comment on the problem "BumpTop freezing" in BumpTop:
Unfortunately, at this moment I am unable to do so. I am working on a website for a client and am behind schedule. I have a serious problem with procrastination, but I will deal with that later. Ever since I shut down BT and then started it back up and loaded version 28xx, I havent noticed a problem. But I also havent been going back and forth to my desktop alot either. – Chucklez, on April 14, 2009 01:53

Before I purchase, I have a simple question. I use BT at home on my pc and laptop, and at work. In the next few months, I am due for a new computer at work. If I install Pro version on work my work computer, how difficult will it be to put it on my new computer when I get it?
*an idea for the future - how about an 'un-register your BT' button? That way it would make it easier to migrate it to new computers.

frame bordersI see in BT 1.0 picture frames no longer have borders around them, where as in previous Beta versions they did. I myself am not a fan of the 'no borders' Is there or can there be an option to re-enable borders?

I plan on updating, but have a few questions first. I currently run BT on 3 computers (work, home pc, personal laptop). How many licenses is the paid Pro version for? Also, is this is a lifetime license, or yearly? What are payment options? I ask as I have funds in my PayPal account I havent used in a bit, and would like to use them.
Thanks for the great product, and Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to help test and debug it.

google earth compatibilityWhenever I have BT open and attempt to browse through google earth, my system goes very slow and freezes up. If I close BT, then Google Earth runs fine. Anyone else have this problem? Is it possibility due to 2 highly graphical pieces of software keeping for processor space?
Chucklez asked a question in BumpTop on April 01, 2009 02:11:
"cannot copy scene: Access is denied" errorI have been having this problem intermittently for quite some time now, but it is becoming more pronounced, especially on my home pc. The Exact error reads:
"Cannot copy scene: Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is currently not in use."
Installed and am running BT as full rights admin. Plenty of HD space available. all directories have full access. This occurs primarily when I am moving items around on my desktop, but it may have happened other times. I am not entirely certain. I will keep better track of the problem from now on.
I know this issue is related to BT as I occasionally received the problem on my work computer, and never on my home machine. I installed BT on my home pc the other day and this error has happened several times since then.
*edit
I am running XP media Edition at home and XP Pro at work. 1 is a Intel processor with 3GB ram/10GB HD space left. The other is a AMD processor with 1GB RAM/ 100GB HD space left.

VIP version 2318 blurry photo framesJust updated to VIP version 2318 and since doing so, have noticed that the photo frames I have are very blurry. It isnt my graphics card as everything else appears fine, just the photo frames.
As a side note, possibly add a 'check for updates' button to the BumpTop settings box.

cannot change frame sourceIn the newest version of BT (Build 2279) once you have a photo frame setup, you cannot change the source. Not so good if you want to look at something different. Right clicking on the frame DOES NOT give the option to change source.-
Chucklez started following the problem "Can't get the Animated Themes widget to work." in Indakind Designs.
Chucklez reported a problem in BumpTop on December 01, 2008 16:07:
networked picture frame not loading upon bootupWhen you have a picture frame which draws its image from a network, bumptop will load and "link" or "draw" from that network resource correctly IF it is available. If the frame source is unavailable (ie. you are on a laptop and take it with you on a flight. Your home network is no longer available), BumpTop will basically delete the frame, and will display nothing. Now, upon reconnecting to that network resource, the frames SHOULD reload, but they dont as they have been deleted upon the previous boot-up.
This should be corrected, or at least give an option upon start up that says something like "The resource for the photo frame is currently unavailable. Would you like this to be restored upon next Bump Top startup?"
I have BT installed on my laptop at home, and when I travel I take it with me. Its a nuisance having to reload and set up all frames upon returning.
