Chris Kieff reported a problem in Twitter on October 13, 2008 14:28:
Someone else stole my account, @ripple6Hi, I'm @ckieff on twitter and I'm also the Director of Marketing with Ripple6.com, I can reached as chris at ripple6 dot com.
In September I created the twitter ID, @Ripple6 and received the ID and started to use it. Then suddenly it stopped working. It's now with a dead account that's sent a total of 4 updates the last one in July.
I would like to request that my company Ripple6 receive this account. Can you please help me?
Thanks,
Chris

New Follower notices should include the Follower's Stats. For new follower emails, Twitter please add the following info: Following, Followers, Favorites and Updates. You already have all that info and it would sure help to weed out the spammers very quickly. It seems that this should be a very quick fix with a big benefit to users.
Thanks,
Chris

Because as a social media marketer, and blogger (www.1GoodReason.com) I'm very interested in what's happening with my large group of contacts online. But more specifically as a Marketer I want to know what these important influential thought leaders are complaining about online. So having a large group of my contacts readily connected the moment I joined the site was amazing. – Chris Kieff, on July 25, 2008 19:52

Scott, you're doing something different. I've signed up for dozens of services over the last 6 mos. Anything related to Twitter chokes on my follower or following list. Plurk, FriendFeed etc, don't go past the first 100 followers.Do you download and store the lists locally? This is really drastically different than what's happening on the other sites.

How did GetSatisfaction find 550 of my Twitter friends in seconds?I just joined and GetSatisfaction and your system found 550 of my twitter friends in seconds! Two things, first a Follow All would have prevented my carpal tunnel.
Second, how the heck did you do that? None of the other social nets seem to be able to do that.
