What I mean is that, before release of 10.6 GM, those of us with ADC accounts had no trouble using expand drive back then, but with whatever updates have occurred in the last 2 months, it's gotten extremely bad.
I can try to find more details, however I'm still stuck at it wanted me to install mac fuse, another employee just had me manually reinstall macfuse, reboot, and use the remove scripts, but still expandrive pops up asking to install macfuse then fails.
I'm totally frustrated as Expandrive worked last week, and now I can't even get it to install! It thinks Fuse is not installed when it clearly is!
As for the slow/beachball issues I can get more data for you, I love the product, but I need it working today to get my work done.
I'm happy to do ichat screenshare, and hand over control while you or someone at Expandrive pokes around.

Yeah lots of people are having this. The beta builds worked great on snow leopard. But 6 people who use it in my office now on 10.6 are having lots of beach balling, where before it worked perfectly. Same here, cept mine won't even install. There's another thread about my issue though.
Love this product, just want to see it fixed!

Still having the problem. I followed your steps exactly:
Ran/Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/uninstall-macfuse-core.sh
Then Ran :sudo rm -rf /Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs /System/Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs /Library/Frameworks/MacFUSE.framework /Library/Receipts/MacFUSE.pkg "/Library/Receipts/MacFUSE Core.pkg"
Then Removed Expand Drive Completely with appzapper.
Movie showing me following all your steps (i need this fixed asap):

After upgrading from 10.6 to 10.6.1, Expandrive upon launching tells me that I need to install MacFuse. Which is already installed.
I clicked "Install MacFuse" again to make your application "happy"
Then it gives me this error message. How can i fix this asap, and without losing all my bookmarks.
Until the quality of expandrive is improved please add an export/save connections option, so I can re-import them right back into expand drive. Not only does this allow me to save a file for multiple machines, but I've had to reenter them 10+ so far, do to stuff happening when reinstall or using your auto updates.

Great Ideas for your product
[Feature Request]
Please add the following options:
"Hide Silverback menu icon"
"Hide Dock"
"Hide desktop icons or use custom desktop image"
"Show Modify Keys in Video Overlay" (This checkbox show I can disable them, on a per session level)
"Record Keystrokes to Text File" <--->
[Feature Request]
Sorry about the crude images, I did them in 10 minutes. I'd love to do a bit of design for some of the nib file layouts and other things. I plan to make more mockups for you guys.
There are two images attached showing features that would be easy to create and would be important....
Also please allow sessions to be time limited, and when finished, stay at a black screen until a UI person comes and unlocks the screen... (no security needed) just a nice, Thank-you, please wait or something, custom message we can show the users in a lab.
I will explain them in detail further, please give me feedback on what you think! I use this product everyday (for a whole day :-) with over 50 macs....
Thanks guys - courtkizer AT gmail.com
