Google Learning Management System? With the current state of the Learning Management System world, (Blackboard behemoth suing other companies, very expensive LMS hosting, more and more schools using LMS's, more and more online programs and universities) - it seems like Google should be working on its own LMS - perhaps even somehow working with Moodle (open source LMS @ moodle.org) to create a truly incredible and inexpensive LMS that could revolutionize the world of online education worldwide.

Oh, and while we're at it, integrate calendar, docs, and manage the whole thing with Groups... :) http://getsatisfaction.com/google/top...

Integrate iGoogle, Calendar, Docs, Sites, and Talk/Chat - all in 1 - via Google GroupsThe future? Integrate iGoogle, Calendar, Docs, Sites, and Talk/Chat - all in 1 - via Google Groups - so that groups of interested individuals can fully collaborate across the entire spectrum of Googles Suite of apps: building a collective portal of interesting feeds and information (iGoogle), sharing documents (docs), calendaring for events (calendar), building wiki pages and collaborative documentation and projects (sites), chatting all the while when people are online (talk).
Clark replied on October 02, 2008 12:48 to the idea "Share My iGoogle" in Google:
the next evolution beyond sharing a tab for iGoogle is to get a direct URL to an iGoogle page/tab, and then: (and what Netvibes and Pageflakes need) is the ability for *groups* to collaboratively build Ajax sites/pages of feeds and widgets - not just 1 person to build and broadcast.
then, the next step beyond that is to integrate wikis/sites into the whole thing so that groups can collaboratively build the ajax page as well as easily add a google site (wiki) into the page so that groups can share links and resources, but also collaboratively build things in the wiki and communicate on various topics easily with the wiki and discussion forums. - all the while keeping GoogleTalk's IM chat built into everything - and adding in Flash video/audio and a whiteboard.
Can we do this, like, today? :)

Selective Notifications DesiredI would like to see more "selective notification" - rather than site-wide. The simple ability to "subscribe" to a page, or folder, or random set of pages would be much better. Perhaps a little icon under "Add Tags" that says "Receive notifications of changes to this page" or "subscribe to this page"...

Moving the comments to the bottom of the wiki page (and not having to click on comments to see them) is a good move for 2.0 - but if the comments were THREADED - it would be much more useful and usable. For a good example, see Atlassian's Confluence - the comments at the bottom are threaded so that you can see who replied to whom. In a busy wiki with lots of comments and discussion that gets rolled up into the wiki page document, this is pretty vital.
It's basically just an organization scheme where replies are tabbed over from the original message. I'm not a programmer, but it seems like it couldn't be too tough!-

Will it happen before April 7? As a pbwiki 2.0 beta tester, I was offered to upgrade a wiki to platinum for a year free - but I want to upgrade a wiki that is the OLD pbwiki to the 2.0 AND add platinum. Or should I go ahead and make that one platinum, knowing that within a few weeks I'll *definitely* be able to upgrade it from pbwiki 1 to 2?

p.s. my aim at this point is to integrate pbwiki with Moodle so that users don't have to login separately to both... I see that Moodle now has an OpenID plugin, http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?d... so hopefully we're on our way.
