the example is the second image in that plurk discussion. The text-link in the pop up is the intended URL. Plurk used the set-id value in the url and fetched an incorrect photo & thumbnail, as it doesn't seem to know about set URL structure. Ideally it should be the photo that is the primary photo for that set.

flickr URL translation bug: photoset urlPlurk is improperly translating a photoset URL into a photo thumbnail (sometimes).
Your translation seems to only look for the numeric string and consider it to be a photo-id. but many flickr URLS have a numeric string that represents a different object (such as sets). This causes plurk to fetch a thumbnail for a matching photo-id (if it exists), if not it just displays a normal linked text.
Would be NICE to detect set urls separately and do API call to get the primary photo id for the set and display that as the inline graphic.

clickykbd shared an idea in Plurk on October 20, 2008 09:23:
Make "verbs" clickable timeline filters! This idea originally popped up as a comment (afterthought) on a previous request (one that has gratefully been implemented). But deserves it's own thread I think.
Each plurk VERB should be a SUB-FILTER too. I want to click [shares] anywhere it appears and have my current filter drop everything but those verb'd plurks. How to best undo verb-filtering is for plurk A-team to figure out. ;-)
I'm re-posting it as an Idea because it has been concurred by many of my contacts. Also because I had the thought it would be nice to have separate "tabs" for plurks containing Videos. Many contacts share music-videos and I often don't want to sit through them at the time I am reading, but might want to find/re-visit them more easily later. If everyone used "shares" when doing this, I could simply click the "shares" verb to get the filter that exposes most of these "for your enjoyment" plurks that are less conversation oriented.
A complex and powerful feature, but I don't think it would clutter the feature-space too much because verbs already exist. They just don't do too much right now.

I think Doggie was directing the response to Kobus's request for adding "quotes" to the verbs. You could just bookmark this URL and it would pre-fill that part of the plurk for you:

I like how the URL specification of plurk content turns into a whole feature... ability to bookmark common plurk prefix phrases. Now to just write them as an actual bookmarklet so we don't have to load new pages to use them. GreaseMonkey possibilities sound promising.
It's kinda adding "custom verbs" to the list... sorta... kinda.

When the plurk is karma related, mitigated by karma, or made expressly to deal with karma. It is utterly boring. Just avoid people that do so and it's a rewarding place where conversations tend to take place easily.
Staff have been pretty adamant in the past about karma not "going away"... but they are also constantly tuning the system.

I agree about that right hand arrow sending us back to the right-most plurks.
Not to get button crazy but I like the idea of stepping through "by day". This would be far fewer clicks when bouncing around than using the current arrows. They would make a nice addition.
I'd actually prefer extra such features embedded in navigation hot-keys rather than cluttering up the buttons display.
