cmonnat asked a question in Spreedly on May 13, 2009 17:35:
What's the best way to confirm a payment?I'm just working through a sign-up process using my test account.
My user fills out my registration form and are redirected to the appropriate Spreedly subscription page where they make the payment and are then presented with a receipt and link back to my site. What is the prescribed way for my app to tell whether or not the customer has completed the payment process?
Should I check to see if the user has been created in Spreedly or is this handled under the change notification process outlined in your documentation: https://www.spreedly.com/manual/integ...?

Is there a way to suppress e-mails sent to subscriber?I'm playing with a test account and so far this is way too easy!! I feel like I'm missing something.
One question I have... I'm going to be offering a free subscription plan. Since it's free I don't see any reason to send the user to the Spreedly page. I could simply add them via the API and forgo the Spreedly handshake. The one thing I'm wondering is, can I keep Spreedly from sending the user an e-mail receipt for $0.00?
So, I'm looking for a way to keep Spreedly from sending my users receipts for $0.00.

Unable to change sites from overview or account pages.Doesn't look like the account drop down is working properly on the overview or account pages of the program. When I click "Select Site..." from either page nothing happens. I have to go to the FAQs page to get the drop down to appear so I can switch accounts.
I'm using Firefox and have encounter the problem on both Windows and a Mac.

Chris: Thanks for the note about http://sign-up-sheet.com. I will look into why this is happening.
I have not been able to recreate the issue you are experiencing. I noticed most of your sheets are password protected which prohibits me from submitting any test sign-up's. If you could send an e-mail to info@sign-up-sheet.com with your sheet addresses and their passwords I will look into this further.
One other question, what browser are you using?

Sheet addresses are not working. We are currently trying to work through an issue regarding individual sheets not coming up when entering the sheet address. Recently we had to change hosting companies and migrated sign-up-sheet.com to the new server earlier today and this issue is a result of that migration.
We are looking into the issue and will post an update here when it has been resolved.

PayPal Account QuestionI'm trying to get a better handle on what kind of PayPal account I need to have in order to use your service. I can't seem to find a PayPal Pro account type on PayPals website. Are you referring to a PayPal Website Payments Pro account?
Also, out of curiosity, can you tell me how many people are currently using your service?
