At the moment we have a very basic API, but we are working on full documentation and some updates. To activate the API, go to your Account section and User Profiles and you will see the option to enable it.

Since we use sub-domains, you also need to know the URL to your account. Something like:

Hmm, we have web-hooks for commits, but not deployments. Maybe you can have a script that watches for commits using web-hooks and if you trigger [deploy:production] if will run that command.

Jamie, we have been considering this. For now we need to make sure that we can grow into the number of accounts that sign up each day. This strategy will help us overall, whether it is VPS-like or shared.

Hi Jamie,

We had some high load today with our deployments. While they are usually pretty fast, sometimes everyone decides to deploy at once and it backs up. We are going to add another server to handle deployments and integration tools, since the volume is steadily going up.

We're also pretty close to releasing an update that will make our deployments a bit "smarter" on the server side. We'll post an update on our blog soon.

Hi Micah, it should work for any commit as long as the integration is setup. Make sure that you include a comment in the commit message.

This week I will be working on a screen cast of the deployment tools. This might help explain how it works and how you can use it.
