Cody replied on March 02, 2009 16:48 to the question "jerky webcam videos" in Kyte:
Your bandwidth upload speed is probably lower than our default settings, that and or it is inconsistent and spiky(usually due to being on a wireless connection).
When inside of your webcam production mode (before hitting "record) click on the settings button next to "record". From here you will be able to select a lower quality stream setting which will most likley resolve your issue. The lower your upload connection the lower stream setting you must use.

Hello Aruna,
This is an issue with your default flash settings and should be very easy to fix.
Prior to going through these steps i would like to recommend downloading the latest update of Adobe Flash - Google "Adobe Flash Update"
1. Right-Click or (if on an mac, ctrl+click), inside of the Kyte player.
2. Click on "Settings"
3. There will be a little Icon that looks like a file folder - click on this folder, you should now be under "local storage"
4. Move the slider until the storage usage is 1MB
5. Click close
6. Refresh your browser.
You should not have this problem anymore - IF YOU DO, there may be another issue with your browser security settings. Please keep in mind this seems to be an issue with Adobe Flash and NOT the Kyte platform.
Also for future reference, please refrain from posting the same issue over and over as this does not help other members of the community.
Thanks

Hello p3pixel,
You can try using the new findChannels method, you may have better results with this. http://docs.kyte.com/display/DOCS/Fin...
Also please contact your account manager / developer support for API related issues.
Thanks.

Cody replied on December 08, 2008 18:59 to the question "how do i embed my channel list NOT just a player" in Kyte:
Hello Video Meeo, using the Kyte SDK you should be able to develop an application that will display a list of your channels. If you are looking for something more manual but just as effective - you could create thumbnails for each of your channels and look at using the setUri function under our player flash controls here: http://docs.kyte.com/display/DOCS/Kyt....
Thanks!

Cody replied on November 15, 2008 23:58 to the question "What is the Media RSS option for?" in Kyte:
Kyte has the ability to take certain media from RSS feeds i.e. MP3's, Video etc... and automatically produce them into "Shows" that are then published to your channel from that feed.
This feature is very powerful and very new - one thing to be considered is that even though there are RSS standards - many RSS feeds do not use these standards or have special formatting. This will cause Kyte to sometimes have a difficult time to read / publish shows from the media within that RSS feed.
Give it a try!
