Colin replied on September 28, 2009 16:14 to the problem "Cannot Upload Videos--Snapfish ignores me" in Snapfish:
Hello,
We are still in the process of developing new codecs for use with our video upload feature, in order to make this a worth while feature for all Snapfish customers use.
Unfortunately, developing and QA'ing these codecs is a time consuming process and is by no means easy to provide an exact release date for with all of the other site updates and/or releases we have coming out on a regular basis.
So with that being said, if you have a Snapfish home videos subscription, and would like a refund for the monthly or annual charge at this time, please use our customer support form(http://support.snapfish.com/app/ask/) to submit this refund request directly to me. In the form submission, simply request that the issue be escalated directly to Colin in Level 3 Support.
Thank you.

Hello,
The only option(s) we can offer at this point is for you to either compress the jpegs into a zip file, then upload them, or try uploading your photos in smaller bunches.
Unfortunately there is no other workaround for this issue, unless you would like to download and install our PictureMover software:

Thank you.

Colin replied on September 21, 2009 16:49 to the question "Mac OS 10.5.4 and quick upload installation problems" in Snapfish:
Hello,
We are currently aware of an issue with PowerPC Mac OS X computers that causes our new upload tool to freeze and/or not function as it was designed to. Intel based Mac OS X computers are not affected by this issue. Our engineering team is currently working on a fix for this issue, however in the meantime if you own a PowerPC Mac OS X computer, then you will need to use either our basic one by one upload method, or our Snapfish iPhoto plugin:
We have an export assistant available for Mac iPhoto users who would like upload multiple photos from iPhoto to the website. The iPhoto export assistant adds a new option to the "Export" feature in iPhoto. When the export window opens, click on the "Snapfish" tab in the iPhoto Export window. You will see options to upload whatever you have selected in iPhoto to your Snapfish account. Please note that the plug-in requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later and iPhoto 6 or later.
The plug-in is available at
www.snapfish.com/SnapfishExportPlugin... . Click the link and follow the onscreen instructions to install the export assistant.
We can only ask for your continued patience in this matter as we hope to get the issue resolved as soon as possible.
Thank You.
Colin replied on August 24, 2009 15:58 to the question "Mac OS 10.5.4 and quick upload installation problems" in Snapfish:
Hello,
I have tested our iPhoto export assistant using both a PowerPC Mac, and an Intel based Mac running OS 10.5.8, and experienced no issues in doing so.
It sounds like the iPhoto export assistant has not been properly installed on your computer. Therefore we can only recommend that you try uninstalling/reinstalling this software to see if this helps.

Hello anuj,
As stated in my reply 16 days ago:
"We do not currently have a feature or tool that allows you to transfer photos from the websites you mentioned to Snapfish."
We also do not have a feature that allows for customers to create their own photo apps for use with Snapfish.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Colin replied on July 29, 2009 18:32 to the question "Angry with snapfish website" in Snapfish:
Hello betsy,
You do need to refresh the page in Firefox after changing this option. If you did see a Snapfish URL listed in the Sites list on the blocked images page, then this was the problem all along.
As for your internet security software, you would need to ask that question of the software developer since Snapfish neither develops nor supports this type of software.
Colin replied on July 29, 2009 18:13 to the question "Angry with snapfish website" in Snapfish:
Hello betsy,
In your initial post to this thread, it sounded like you could not "right click on a picture and set it as desktop background or right click and email a pic to a friend", which was the subject of this thread originally.
If you cannot view images on Snapfish while using Firefox, then you may have accidentally clicked on the "block images from snapfish" choice after right clicking on an image in your photo album(s).
To remove this block, click on Tools in Firefox, then Options. Under the Content tab, click on the Exceptions button next to "Load images automatically". Select the Snapfish URL in the list provided, and then click on the Remove button.
If this is not the issue, then it could be your internet security software blocking images from the Snapfish website, in which case, you will need to contact the software developer of your internet security software for further assistance with this issue.

Unfortunately we still do not have a finalized feature for Mac users that allow for rearranging of the photos into alphabetical order, etc. This feature is still in development, however I cannot provide an exact ETA for the feature being pushed live on our website.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Colin replied on May 01, 2009 20:14 to the update "Known issues using the Snapfish website with IE8" in Snapfish:
Dear Snapfish customers,
We have found what was causing compatibility issues with IE8 and the first two Snapfish website ActiveX controls mentioned above.
First and foremost, please make sure that you are running the most current version of the IE8 browser.
Secondly, to resolve this issue so you can easily use our Quick Upload tool for the Internet Explorer web browser, please open an IE8 browser window, click on Tools, then click on Compatibility View Settings. Then please make sure that the checkbox next to "Include updated website lists from Microsoft" is left unchecked.
Once you make this setting change, you should no longer have this ActiveX issue with our Quick Upload tool, and/or our Print at Home feature.
Thank you.

Colin replied on April 27, 2009 17:45 to the question "Can not install quickupload" in Snapfish:
Hello Steve,
Unfortunately we do not have a Windows Vista 64 bit system here at Snapfish to test this functionality on.
I can only recommend that you maybe try downloading our Mozilla Firefox Quick Upload tool, as it does not rely on Active X controls, like IE does. Firefox can be downloaded for free from www.mozilla.com.
Thank you.
