Well, I can't say it's not cross-talk from something in my system - and I do believe my router is the culprit. My predecessor, who set up the system, saved money by building his own cables, and I don't really trust the shielding on the cable-stock he used. I am getting a bleed in of squawks across outputs, but it seems modulated by some other chatter coming in from outside the system - I've been clipping ferrite cores on everything I can reach, but the problem is still there, mocking me, ruining the media I am encoding on the SXLE as well as the programming I am outputting to my cable TV system. Sheesh.

Yep - there are 2 possible RF offenders. My office and server are in my town's city hall - along with the police dept., and, I assume, their comm. transmitter. Also, there is a CB/shortwave hobby shop just across the road (~30-40 yards away) with a fairly large aerial array attached to their building. I will try repositioning the wires to try to avoid the phase interference, looking for the obvious prob - e.g. a power cord zip-tied into a bundle of audio cables, etc. I suspect the problem is the in/out cradles on the back of my SXLE, so that's where my trouble-shooting/making will begin.
thanks!

RF interference (?) messing up my audioI have an SXLE running 4.7.6. I am having trouble with what I think is RF interference from a nearby transmitter - my audio (on encode, preview, and playback) is corrupted by random loud burps and squawks, some of it resembling speech. Is there a way I can shield or otherwise protect my system?
