A comment on the idea "Make "delete" key = archive?" in Postbox, Inc.:
This is the entire premise of Gmail, to have a searchable record of your emails. You could still delete any messages that had private data in them by either not changing the delete key mapping (and leaving it the default) or just by manually selecting "delete" on those few messages you want to erase forever. I like having a record of everything, so when the "I never said that"s come out I can easily find when they did. – Cory, on February 12, 2009 18:34-

This is a good fix (just change the folder to All Mail, correct?) but I think it should be the default behavior in the application when using Gmail IMAP instead of needing to be changed. Seems like there are no email clients that offer true out-of-the-box seamless compatibility with Gmail's IMAP services. Postbox could be the first!-

Don't only show tasks that are due today!I think you should have the option to show all tasks that will be due in the future, not only those tasks that are due today. Many times I can get things done before they MUST be completed if I have extra time, but would forget about it if the task doesn't show up until the day it's due. This could be a selectable option, of course.
