Ning Creators is Live!

Hi all!

I wanted to share an exiting announcement from the Ning Blog. Today, we are launching Ning Creators, a new public Network Creator Network designed to help you get the most out of your Ning Network. Ning Creators is already underway with articles, blog posts, screencasts, updates on new releases and a staffed forum.

With this new centralized place of and for Network Creators, we are changing our level of involvement here on Get Satisfaction. Since we are focusing our time on the tickets you submit to the Ning Help Center and on the content and community in Ning Creators, we will no longer actively participate in the discussions on Get Satisfaction. We look forward to having you join the discussions on Ning Creators!

We’ll need to work together to maintain a healthy environment where we can engage in respectful, constructive discussions. Please read the Ning Creators Network Guidelines before signing up.

Exactly. We want to make sure that anyone who signs up for the Network is an active Network Creator. Its just the start of the day now at Ning HQ, so we will be approving memberships soon.

Sorry you ran into this error on your Ning Network. It looks like this is only happening on the Network Creator account. I have flagged this for our engineers and they are working on a fix for this now. I will post an update here when they are finished.

Hi Mike!

You can export a .csv list of your members and their profile questions on the Manage>Member page. Since members must sign up for the new network themselves (and agree to the Terms of Service, and any guidelines you have set in the process), you can use this list to send out invites to your Ning Network.

Problem solved! I just responded to your ticket but wanted to follow up here as well. The texbox issues you were seeing in IE were caused by the embedded twitter widget on your main page.

Thanks for the update. After you posted, we took a closer look. It seems the updates on our end may have caused some Javascript delays, but these should now be resolved. Let me know if you run into anything else!

I had our developer take a look at enchantedforrest.ning.com. It looks like some Javascript code was added and it is causing the issues you have described. I would suggest removing any Javascript code you have added recently.
