This morning I've also tried creating / uploading an image and received the same error. Well, aside from the URL:
HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found. The following page is not found: http://ow.ly/i/7ot-

Sweden is the R&D department. London is the HQ.

I'd just like to say that so far I've been quite impressed with the quality of ads and the brands/companies that are advertisers. I think the first few adverts I heard were for J Sainsbury's or Microsoft's Xbox 360 - I have / use / shop at both.
I'm guessing as the listener/userbase gets bigger we're going to hear a wider range of ads from different (worse?) companies where it becomes evident that they don't have a massive marketing budget / great production quality. But, for the meantime - good job!-

Just adding another +1 for scrobbling. Since I've been a supporter of Last.fm since the early AudioScrobbler days, I really like and have a massive biased toward the company and would personally refuse to jump to a new service (ie, Spotify) unless I could still scrobble to my Last.fm profile - because I'd hate to see it lay vacant.
However, I think what Spotify are doing is immense and I would be quite happy to use the player, whilst scrobbling all listened tracks.
What's more, you guys are only down the road from each other (or both in London, at least) - and I know the Last.fm guys like your service too. So, if there was any integration to be done, it could probably be done face-to-face over a lovely cup of coffee.

coxy replied on October 15, 2008 13:01 to the idea "Integration with Upcoming (by Yahoo!)" in Plazes:
I was just having lunch, thinking about Plaze, and thought that would be a pretty cool idea too. One disadvantage would be that I don't attend all events I post to Upcoming.
Okay, so I might have the intention of going to 'x' and so it's down on my Upcoming calendar - but I wouldn't necessarily wanting my Plazes telling the world I'm there, when I'm actually not.
Maybe if there was a way to confirm it. Say if the Upcoming event was set to start at 9pm, you receive a text at 9.15pm asking to confirm you're there / write a status. The reply then gets posted as a plaze.
coxy reported a problem in Pownce on July 13, 2008 11:28:
Character Encoding is screwed?I've noticed that when you post certain characters using the desktop application, they don't translate well through to your pownce page. Examples as follows:
In this note I posted the url http://www.last.fm/music/Mike+TV (notice the plus in the url between Mike and TV), whereas on my pownce page, it's showing as http://www.last.fm/music/Mike%252BTV, which is an invalid link.
In this note I posted the text "or available for purchase seperately for £4" via the desktop application. When I look at the note through my browser / rss feed, the text reads as "or available for purchase seperately for ?4" and the pound sign hasn't been recognised.

I think this is a server-side problem, as opposed to the software - I just got the same issue when using Pownce Monkey. It was only temporary and is working again now. – coxy, on July 11, 2008 22:44

I've noticed that if you insert an 'a' tag, it will link up the text correctly when viewing the user page (http://pownce.com/coxy) but not in the note page (http://pownce.com/coxy/notes/2693436/) or RSS feed.
It would be nice to see some consistency - as in, just support 'a href title' or automatically transform full urls into links... preferably both.-
