Craig replied on September 03, 2009 02:03 to the question "How do I remove my account?" in SpicyElephant:
Tannie,
Please forward you request including your registered email to support@spicyelehpant.com and we will arrange for your account to be deleted. I'm sorry you are disappointed in our deletion process, but I can assure you it is a lot easy than deleting your account on facebook!
If you simply no longer wish to receive emails, this can be disabled by visiting the user preferences menu.
Hope this helps,
Craig

No, there is not currently a way for you to do this. This is a deliberate design choice, to maximize your study time. You can review spaced repetition theory on on here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaced_r....
Craig replied on January 20, 2009 23:24 to the question "Google Gears Support please" in SpicyElephant:
Yes I agree Google Gears support would be nice. Still not sure what would give us the best bang for buck. Mobile web version, gears offline version, native iphone or native android.
I get the impression that Gears is still a fringe product, that doesn't have a big adoption yet. We would probably wait until Gears gained a little more traction. Possibly, this would be when Gmail gets around to supporting Gears.

Craig replied on January 11, 2009 06:59 to the question "Can one build a deck for use by others that is protected (DRM)?" in SpicyElephant:
Premium accounts have private decks, however they are only available to the individual user. It sounds like you have requirements for an embedded flash card widget.
This is not something we currently provide, but could be useful.
If you want to discuss this further please email us at support@spicyelephant.com
Craig replied on January 11, 2009 06:54 to the question "Does Spicy Elephant have a future?" in SpicyElephant:
Fair comment Nick, appreciate the feedback.
We did consider the consequences of pushing users to an upgrade. We think the best way to have Spicy Elephant operational in 2 years is to have a profitable application. Advertising is not a suitable business model for a niche application such as Spicy Elephant.
As far as decommissioning, we have no immediate plans. The mayhem(method) decommissioned list is for applications that never made it out of prototype stage. Spicy Elephant has been a great success to date and we hope to continue to support the application.

Craig replied on November 23, 2008 10:05 to the idea "Latex support?" in SpicyElephant:
Farley,
This is a great suggestion, I would love to see this in the product. We are currently compiling candidate features for our next release, I like to get this in, provided we can feasible solution.
I did some quick research and it looks like there is a Latex plugin for TinyMCE the rich text editor used in spicy elephant.
Thanks again for the feedback
