A comment on the idea "RE: the Complaints of Krusty the Bart." in aftershock:
For the record, I do believe that colacat is a top notch player and deserves many accolades for rising to the top. I just didn't think he/she need so many zen resets or midgets to attain such status. Unlike Krusty, at least there isn't the outward disrespect and inane comments spilling forth in the forums. – crazywudsl, on April 18, 2009 23:35
A comment on the idea "RE: the Complaints of Krusty the Bart." in aftershock:
Your comments are wholly inaccurate and really lack any substance. Do you think that Banking bots are used more because of me? That idea is just plain DUMB. How did my bringing this topic to the forefront affect those using or not using bots for months prior? If using bots is a moral issue, then those that feel it is unfair will not use them, and those that don't care will use them. I have been consistent in my opinion against the use of bots, but since they have not been deemed illegal, accounts cannot be banned for their use.
If anything, my bringing the topic to the forefront has led to rules of conduct being created against bots much sooner than would otherwise occur. So if rules of conduct are created that make bots illegal, then you can say that I helped clean up ML. If you can't see this, then you are DUMB. If you believe colacat was driven out of the game due to the new owner, then you are DUMB. If you believe believe colacat got to the top only by being smart and working within the parameters of the game then you are DUMB. Do you truly believe that Colacat is an army of midgets, or do you believe bots were in use for a prolonged period of time. If you believe banking bots to be illegal (i believe them to just be against the spirit of the game), then how do you account for colacats inordinate amount of zen resets? (are they illegal or just against the spirit of the game as I would believe). So colacat used bots and zen resets to get to the top, and after being at the top, there really is no real skill left to stay on top when your cashflow lead is significant enough to keep you there especially if you are using banking bots or perhaps an army of midgets if you don't believe those were and are in use.
Your comments are spiteful and i hope just a result of disappointment in the state of the game and how there are cheaters in ML. Well, there are cheaters in every game, and in life. Luckily ML is only a game and you can only hold yourself to your own standard. I don't wish to start an argument with you or anyone for that matter, but these comments are BASELESS and really don't help the game at all. If you need to vent your anger then just attack some families that cause you problem. I am not responsible for the present or future state of ML or the accounts that I do not own. All owners can play their accounts as the see fit per the terms of the game or code of conduct. I now play UL and don't use a banking bot as could be testified by the few families that milk my account religiously every night and day for weeks now. I could use a bot and i'd never lose a cent, but I don't use one. I could get angry, but I realize as a top player in ML and even somewhat in UL, that I would do the same thing so how could i complain without being a hypocrite? – crazywudsl, on April 18, 2009 23:14

I get hit by a few 24/7...previously Cortez, but now Lukeshep sometimes and Van Helsing Tribe in the extreme(I think i woke up to see about 10+ attacks each around 10m or so average. I don't know if these guys are cool or not, but i have no complaints as i'd be a hypocrite to go against the actions of milking cows (though technically, i'm not playing seriously and have marginal income on a relative basis). I'm ready to retire from this game but its so hard when i always have my phone with me :P If i wanted to use a banking bot, i could save myself each night, but i haven't quit and sold my account to charity yet so good luck milking (I'm usually available from midnight est to about 6:30am when my kids wake me up). – crazywudsl, on April 16, 2009 12:37

As the former owner of the crazywu family in ML, i just have a few comments be they right or wrong.
Bart simpson is seemingly crass with an ego to match his vanity. The method of his climb is obvious and simple lacking any skills and founded only on cash with no desire to help anyone but himself. Supposedly lying to AS about all transgressions as well.
The current owner of crazywu who I chose to play my account and the account of JDizzle has been honest in all of her actions with full transparency to both the Forums and AS. This includes stating what accounts are being used, and use of any bots (which are not yet against the rules, though even I believe banking bots should be disallowed).
To say that the owner does not care would easily be invalidated by Shauna Dungan or anyone else who has been helping with the trust. All of the proceeds used to purchase the accounts have been entirely given entirely to the trust (as handled by myself and with proof should anyone respectfully desire it). The amount given in my estimation was greater than the actual "market value" of said accounts in keeping with said owners desire to contribute funds first and foremost.
That being said, I have always been against "banking" bots overall and usage of LP's beyond the capo's per se. Unless separate worlds are created where families have more restricted usage, or a profile lists how many or what types of LP usages have been performed by a family in the profile, it will never be possible to weed out the current snitch lists of those who may have abused the system against the spirit of the game, if not against the rules of the game. Should Banking bots or other actions be banned, honest players such as some0ne would adhere to such code of conduct strictly. Unfortunately, those such at Bart/Crusty would still try to circumvent the code in an effort to stay on the boards, but without any real skills or strategy, would certainly fall off. Unless AS has a policing method in play, posting a code of conduct would never clean the snitch lists, but it would perhaps finally qualify what is to be allowed to all those players who want to be play the game as honestly and fairly as possible and yet play the game to their fullest potential whether this be by being a nazi banker, using ROI spreadsheets, carefully choosing whales, etc. etc.
Finally, the climb of the crazywu family from a cashflow of 1+ million when i left it to 10+ billion overtaking the #1 income in the game did take skill and a some time. There is no claim as far as i'm aware that this was done without full admission of methods and should anyone wish to claim the money title with the admission that they did not perform any actions "against the strictest moral criteria" of the majority of these forums, then let them do so. When i first retired eons ago, I had stated my opinion that Muddpiemojo had my vote over colacat or Mr. Moo using these same criteria. Obviously, skill can only overcome some other factors such as when a family started playing, luck, etc. Perhaps, it would be nice to start a new ML world with everyone on an even footing and then see who tops the leaderboards.

Nice change...perhaps if everyone with extra stamina now attacked and lost to you, poor old Crusty would see your name chasing and passing him up the ladder. While most players could afford to forego some of the more important things in life to please their own ego, I doubt that someone as crass as Crusty could afford to take on the whole MafiaLive/UndeadLive community. Attack Iconograf's account and make a cheater use all his milk money to try to keep up :P
Perhaps, its better to let crusty spend money to no avail with everyone knowing he cheats and excluding him from any true honors (outside of #1 cheaters list), instead of banning him?

Ah, almost forgot some0ne is christy :) I was worried if it was one of my whales on my war list in UL :P Nice to have you join or little group in ML. Since this thread is about me, i will respond one final time since i'm no longer a part of the game and i've responded enough times. Using hacked money is cheating according to the terms of service, but using a banking bot has not been officially ruled as such. That being said, I believe that banking bots are against the spirit of the game and detract from it by keeping the money safe instead of allowing those who put in the effort to attack at all times to win money when people don't make the effort to be tight bankers. For those that want me off the most feared list, just realize that no attacks were won because of the 24 hr usage of the bank bot, and that you could easily remove many more violators who have been using a bot since they started playing the game.
For rick0, or those that haven't heard my reasoning which perhaps was faulty in terms of the greater scheme of things, but was not meant to further my account: After deciding to take up some ownership for helping JDizzle's family, I had set up an auction due to various recommendations with proceeds to go towards a Fund for Jason's 2 month/week old daughter(I always forget some details). At this point, my crazywu account had a cashflow of about 1 million dollars and the only way for me to transfer small amounts of cash of about 1 billion dollars to generous donors would be to bring the cashflow quickly higher. My plan was to get the funds via attacking the JDizzle account before the sale to a generous owner who i chose because of not only the amount of the sale which was mostly based on a charitable basis, but also because to the similar goals upon which i believe Jason would also have approved. Thus the plan was to get the cash quickly, build some real estate, use the Bot to help things along for a day or 2, liquidate all equipment which would allow me to transfer small mafia cash to donors easily, and be relatively done with the game as having no equipment is not the recommended method of playing.
There are those that may say that selling of mafia cash on ebay is not acceptable under any circumstances, and perhaps there is some validity to it. I was not happy, when Mr. Moo first brought up the thread in this regards as well. My only justification, to excuse myself once again is that there are other auctions on ebay for the same exact thing and I figured that helping Jason's family is the most important thing since the people that wish to do so can do that on ebay's other auctions. At least, now they pay for the cash for what is a better cause IMHO. I have spent time and pay the fees which are generated out of my own pocket if applicable and have stated that I would prefer all donations to be made directly if at all possible.
I am a bit disheartened by all of the hatred and spite leveled at me, but realize a lot of it is due to the same frustration and helplessness that i myself felt when trying to advance against family's that i could only assume were using all methods which may be morally against the spirit of what the majority of players feels is right regardless of whether they were against the officially stated rules of the game or not. I can honestly say that I feel that my account was one of the cleanest accounts in the game while i considered myself a player with something to play for. To those that have defended me, based on reputation and knowledge of how i've played this game (I'm sure my stats having been tracked and my advancement followed by many long time players), I thank you and am sorry for having disappointed anyone. If AS had banned my account because i broke the rules, i would have no one to blame but myself even if i were actively still playing. The game for me has been fun and I thank those in this forum and even AS for creating this atmosphere which has given me more than i have given it (99 cents). I hope that after the tragedy, those who play this game religiously take the time to step back and cherish those around them and realize what's really important to them. For those that hate spam attacks in the middle of the night, get the anger out in the game and not in real life. Get revenge as that is one of the few goals in the game that never leaves. Those families that i have attacked to become most hated early on in the game, have become my closest friends in the game or formed a bond which can only be described as love hate. I leave the game with a few regrets, but such is life, no one has a perfect strategy and everyone makes mistakes. Similar to when my children make a mistake, I admonish them or advise them if they do something bad, but if their intentions were well meant, I do not crucify them or bring out the missile launcher.
Thank you to all the people who have posted kind thoughts or made donations to help out their fellow gamer. Thank you also to those who couldn't care less but have not dishonored the memory of a loving father by adding negativity to the thread which is this games dedication to a player who i believe had the greatest enthusiasm for the game.
This was a long reply, and it will be my final reply one on the thread that bears my "Mafia Family Name"

Sure its a slippery slope, but its all a matter of what AS can reasonably police as well as not tick off too many players. Think about it from that stance of anyone who has played a long time and now wants to retire. Wouldn't you want to be able to help your friend out or at least prevent those adversaries who have been milking you for the past month from getting your cashflow every hour? Sure, many people like myself knew no one in this game when i first started, and without this forum and gaining some friends this game would have sucked. I really wish there were a team aspect and so the post about creating syndicates of some sort is really something I wish were present a long time ago (Right now the mafia family doesn't even get looked at or if it does is still a hit list or meaningless. A mafia family in the true form where people join or are recruited is much better. Even if you know no one, if your family is decently powerful, and you're not a donkey, then someone will ask you to join their syndicate and maybe that person will enjoy the new team aspect:

yeah, i second that, thats one reason to post on forums and to make some new friends. If your buddy wants to retire help him out, its better than letter your account just get milked by random strangers. Its gonna happen regardless, there really no way to effectively police something so widespread as people will always constantly be retiring.-

That is true, while i'm getting flamed left and right for using a bot for 24hours while trying to gather some meager income to pay for ebay sales if they occured, I was always a pretty decent banking until later on when I didn't care as much. The best of times was when I was actually fully equipped and for a few days, no one could get through (even you i think :) Then i had some MOFO's who kept ticking me off during the Helicopter invincible stage so i'd make sure to have full health and carry $10 bucks at all times :) You're welcome to take your best shot these days since i'm closing shop for the donations. Just a word of warning that i believe the current owner is as tight as Mr. Moo was wherever he/she has gone. – crazywudsl, on March 30, 2009 18:18
A comment on the problem "AFTERSHOCK: ARE PEOPLE CHEATING BUYING TRILLIONS?" in aftershock:
Well, I suppose using the bot for 24hrs has ruined my reputation, but in the end it doesn't matter to me since i have now left the game and uninstalled the application from my phone. I have donated my account to someone who plans to take up JDizzles last will and testament (which though never stated is obvious). I don't recall AS having officially ruled out various methods of using bots, but I do agree they shouldn't be allowed under various circumstances most especially auto-banking. Even though I've been going through the motions of just burning stamina at random, i haven't really thought about playing to compete or for any goal in mind for quite a while. I suppose my only thoughts in using the bot in the first place was because i was just trying to increase the cashflow quick enough so that I would have mafia cash available should the Ebay thing pan out for Jason's family. While i made a few sales, its just too much trouble and I think i will close the auction today since i think those who wished to donate have done so already via check as was the preferred method even as advised on my auction. As for the most feared list, remove me for all i care...was a single victory won using the bot? The future owner perhaps will benefit by not having the account so easy to find via bookmark. If i had played continuously and all the other families on the list did not run zen realignments using LP points, do you not think that my lead on the board would be a few thousand? If i really cared, it would only be to be number #1 on the list and i could have easily done that at any time with any zen change long ago. So maybe i have regrets only because i upset some people, and maybe i was wrong, but in the end maybe those who are trying to crucify me having admitted what i did with the best of intentions should really steer more of their anger towards those who having been using bots for months and who are actively trying to climb the leaderboard or claim some status or fame. – crazywudsl, on March 30, 2009 18:10
