I found a cool site that allows you to update multiple social services/sites like twitter, facebook, myspace, jaiku, pownce, bebo, linkedin, hi5, plaxo, brightkite, etc all with one post. If you have web access on your phone you can go to m.hellotxt.com or you can do it online at their full version website. Oh, there is also a facebook application that I love, since I'm always on facebook!

T-Mobile's buyers remorse policy is 14 days, except in California where their California Consumer Bill of Rights allows 30 days. – michaelicious, on June 21, 2008 04:48

how is just having more followed spam? What if you have more followed and never posted would that be spam? or if you have a lot of followed and you post how does that go to your followed any more then it would if you were not on your followed list? What you are saying is that you Assume anyone with more then x (x being a point you decide) is a spammer and should be removed regardless of their actions.

Here is the main discussion thread for Twitter Spam:

There are many different opinions on this but I think most people agree that an automated solution to this wouldn't be ideal because there would be too many false positives. It's my understanding that Twitter is manually reviewing accounts that are suspected of spam based on:
1) Spam reports filed by users from this Help page: http://twitter.com/help/
2) Heavy block activity against specific accounts
If they determine that the account violated the TOS, then they either take action against the account. Twitter staff, please correct me if I'm wrong on this.

On my phone. I get a "Access Denied" reply SMS when I try to send messages to twitter. It has been happening for a couple of weeks now. – Jessie, on May 14, 2008 20:29

Well, I just called T-Mobile again about it, and all they said was FlexPay is supposed to have short code services blocked and if it's not, it must be a system fluke/you got lucky. They weren't really willing to take a look at the features in the billing system to see if anything could be removed to let me use my unlimited messaging. The only other thing that was suggested is to put money in the Flex Account side, but I have 9.00 in there, and that didn't change anything. Do you have a higher amount in yours? – Cristal, on May 10, 2008 23:19

It must be some "feature" that they can remove/add-on that is the culprit. I'm looking at my bill under Available Services. I wonder if it's the "Spend Control Unl Msg", or if that's just more description for "Msg Bundle UNL AC." Have you noticed anything different/missing under the Available Services section of your bill with the new number? – Cristal, on May 10, 2008 22:40

IMandy, did you get it working by sending the authorization code to the UK number? Or it works sending to the regular 40404 shortcode? I still get the message that this feature is not available for my service plan when I send to the short code. I'm also on FlexPay. – Cristal, on May 10, 2008 04:38

Actually i have T-Mobile's flexpay and recently got it hooked back up and it now works. i can twitter from my cellphone. I dont know if it is different if you have the pre-paid top card or not. Pre-Paid=No Contact & FlexPay=Contact but you pre-pay confusing i know but how tmobile told me its easy FlexPay is like a Post-Paid account mean you use the service then pay but instead you pre-pay it first. If you dont pay you get shut off until you do no surprise $1000 bill. So in all it just may depend on how your service plan is setup.
